I’m jobless currently, so business as usual for me.

I am an essential employee for my city and must report to work as normal. It kind of sucks because the “non essential” employees got sent home and they get paid to literally just stay home (full pay) until this thing is over. They do not have to use sick or PTO.

Company’s still open. But no visitors allowed, employees have to take temps before coming onto the floor. My hands are drying out and getting cracked from hand washing.

I get sweet F.A. can’t even use the PTO I’ve racked up until they reopen.

I worked from home most of the time before, now I work from home 100% of the time.

I have one normal job which has just changed things around but if they shut down I will have other sources of income until I feel like getting another wagie job. I highly doubt it will be a loss of the job, but it might just be if they continue to irritate me.

I’m not going to have any trouble with this fancy pants virus thing either way so they should just let me work my hours like normal.

I’m retired.

Nyahh nyahh nyahh.

That’s not right and your city’s tax payers should be upset.

Not shut down yet. In fact nothing out of the ordinary happening yet, except rotating lunches so that there aren’t too many people in the lunch room at once.

I’m at a big box hardware store.

We are going to start closing to the public at 6 pm, but employees still work normal shift.

I work overnight, so still do what I always do.

They are also giving full timers 80 added hours of personal time, part timers 40. If not used, it gets paid out to you at the end of year.

On top of that, if you get it you contact them and get paid time off.

I also still have 40 hours of vacation, I have to use by Aug 18. So I’m pretty good.

Schools are closed, restaurant, bars, gyms, etc. No gatherings over 10. (yet my job can have well over 10 people in one area at any given time, lol)

But the plant I work at is still open. :woman_shrugging: For how long, not sure.

So no fun play WoW vacation for me yet. But if/when it happens at least they’re compensating our pay.

I work from home so no real increase in wow time.

I suspect having my kid home and my husband starting to work from home tomorrow will actually slow me down, so I’ll have a bit less wow time. :unamused:

3 weeks staycation paid. Thanks, Microsoft.

WFH home all week instead of just 2 days. If the company was as green as they try to present to the public a huge chunk of the company would always be WFH my team included.

I’m one of the few lucky ones.

I’m a linetech, my job is literally to keep the internet working. Which is more important than ever at this time.

Not only did my job security go up, but I’m now getting a 25% bonus for working for the next month. I’ll be making more money.

I work in a school, still open, although a lot of students are now working from home through Google Classroom.

I think I have 17 days sick leave accrued, which is good because I work two days a week.

I hope everyone stays well, and this will be over soon.

Nothing has changed for me. Still go to work. Still work full time plus
some OT.

I work low risk overnight stocking for a hardware store. I don’t deal with customers, and for the most part work alone on my own tasks. I still go in to work.
