Your character commits a crime

What crime did they commit? Do they serve time? If they dont, how do they get away with it?

Keep in mind for this prompt you can go very pety crime ( shoplifting ect ) to straight murder.
I think my character would be unlawful camping in high traffic areas.
I set my camp out directly infront of orgrimar auctionhouse. Its just nice to camp.

Oh! This exact thing happened awhile back to Aevarrah, who is normally very empathetic and tries to do good for people.

Thing is, she’s also really dumb and gullible. She had a warlock she just met tell her that someone stole an orb of hers and that she needed it back. The truth was that this orb wasn’t hers in the first place, but she just wanted Aevarrah to steal it for her, so she lied. So Aevarrah snuck up to some poor mage in her cat form and nabbed the orb from his back pocket before sprinting off with it.

So she committed theft. ^^

She got away with it, mostly since it was an NPC she stole from and I didn’t have to give it much thought, but I think her cat form isn’t distinctive enough to pick it out from others, if I had to come up with a reason :stuck_out_tongue:

I didn’t steal the llamas, they told me they were going to get alcohol and to hop on! I swear on all my luckydo!

Chala’s an engineer (and sometimes a starving one) so it’s not surprising she may be selling weapons on the side
Illegal weapons manufacturing and Smuggling
Illegal machine manufacturing and distribution

I mean, it really depends on who views it as a crime.

I’m kill-on-sight clear across the Steamwheedle Cartel. I mean, Bilgewater too, but that’s more to be expected.

And they’re absolutely right to fear me.

At one point in his life, he did!

Using Void magic was a crime punishable by exile. He studied it, and got exiled.

Since then? I don’t know, probably forgetting to cite one of his sources in a research paper. Jaywalking? Creating portals not authorized by the Kirin’tor? Ye, definitely that, but the Void makes it easier.

Getting drunk… gets caught up into a drunken fight… and killing the person.

Being an assassin for hire.

Putting a goblin through the wall at Dazaralor, he was trying to sell Tortollan shells as bath tubs. The Tortollans were not aware of the change in ownership of their own shells when going into business with the goblin.

Repaired the wall, paid a small fine, time served.

Violently murdering Wildhammer dwarves and stealing ale. He got away by the blade, and got drunk.

Wanted for being too cute and deadly!
Reward: 5.000.000 gold

Posting on the World’s End Tavern thing instead of the General Discussion.

All jokes aside, I snuck up on some old lady in cat form and scared her to death. Literally.

Crime? Practicing blood magic. Ever since the assault on Northrend, she’s been enthralled by the power the san’layn possess and the numerous encounters with the blood trolls in Nazmir have opened her eyes to a new realm of magic. Besides, what better way to procure the necessary materials than as a healer?

She’d get away with it for the most part by weaving it in with her normal healing abilities since she’s already accustomed to utilizing dark magic for restorative purposes as a discipline priest, but would likely cause some eyebrows to stir regardless. She’d be in serious trouble, however, if her scribe’s satchel was examined, as she heavily weaves blood magic into the inscription of various glyphs she uses to augment her abilities.
