The really old one we had on the old forums didn’t carry over. So I made a new one :slight_smile:

I’m not big into Anime but I love Perfect Blue. Such a good movie. And of course I agree with you on Treasure Planet. Such an underrated movie.

Theres no way in God’s green earth can I list all my favorite movies. So I’ll just stick with my all time favorite movie, which that would be the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

The Hobbit was pretty good for sure, but just way too much abuse of CGI imo. But yea all three Lord of the Rings movie just take the cake for me.

Remember Me (2010)PG-13 Do not research it,just watch it blindly, one of the most moving films of all time.

Office Space. everyone knows that one. There’s a couple on the tip of my tongue that I thought were great but I can’t think of the names atm. That’s all I got for now.

I love that movie too and my favorite scene is where the Joker is walking away from the hospital, trying to get his remote to work.

It’s a short scene, and he doesn’t say anything, but it’s so him.

Stargate is one of my all-time favorite movies. Its the movie that set me on the path to originally want to become a movie director, then screenwriter, and finally my current path to becoming a fiction author.

The Matrix helped me to mature as a writer, story wise, and allowed me to see the complexities of a multi-dimensional universe. The 13th Floor did this as well. Digital worlds are a large part of my fiction writing.

Countless anime and TV series have influenced my writing as well.

I could just keep going, and going, and going. That being said, I put Lola Rennt on the top for a reason. That movie hit me at the right time, in the right place, with me in the right frame of mind, to be a huge influence on me.

Literally any movie that casts Tom Hanks. That man is a legend. Even Carly Jenpsen’s “I really like you” video was great because of him.

But well I have a list of my all-favorite:

  • 12 years a slave;
  • The Lord of the Rings (because Tolkien lives on);
  • A Knight’s tale (Heath Ledger is another legend I admire);
  • Highlander (pretty much the first one, 2 and 3 aren’t that great–I’m looking forward the remake);
  • Gladiador;
  • Her;
  • Your name;
  • The terminal (I already state Tom Hanks is a legend so I put him above this list, but still couldn’t let him apart);
  • Bicentennial Man (both book from Asimov and the movie with Robin Williams are extremely emotional).
