I was not having this issue last patch. Look up, FPS drops are insane too.

It’s not Blizzard’s responsibility to keep addons up to date.

Complain to the modmakers. Or the mirror if you haven’t been updating.

What he’s saying is that Blizzard has absolutely nothing to do with making/coding addons.

Those are all from people with no connection what so ever with Blizzard.

The problem is they would even generate a box that won’t let me press a button is bad.

I hardly use any addons now, which really crimps my style, even as a casual. It’s the only way to avoid getting that error message as they keep changing the API to break addons people use.

Or you can stop procrastinating and just update your :poop:. Don’t like it? Turn your add-ons off.

Disable your out of date and/or problematic addons if they are causing you problems.

I have updated multiple times and had addons still not work or break soon afterwards.

There is only one addon that I have that is no longer receiving updates but that is because I can not find a replacement for it, its called ‘sort group’.

I was replying to the guy above you but I’ll bite. If some addons aren’t updating to the level of the game client, then you need to find an alternative addon my dude, or disable the problem child until it’s devs push an update.

Basically not going to be my problem. I’m just reporting what I see. The addons I use are uncommon and way more unlikely to have alternate choices than people like you who do standard content.

And if you missed it, I did say above that I hardly use any addons now.

Then disable it. Obviously something is wrong with it so whatever perceived value it was bringing to you is gone. The onus isn’t on Blizzard to keep the game static so addons don’t break.
