No changers will never be happy with the game. If blizzard invented a time machine and sent them back to 2004 to play the game they would still find something to complain about.
It’s best to ignore them.
I hope they make so many changes these trolls who don't even enjoy WoW will go away and never return.
That's why private servers have been so successful right? Because everyone was so unhappy with them that they just decided to get back at the developers by playing them, yeah?
No this just proves how lazy blizzard has become that they cant even do what a few people making private servers do. They need to take the current game and reskin it rather than do the real work of creating a complete authentic experience.

Troll away, my attitude has gone from "I can't wait to play classic" to "eh, I might try it". It's a little upsetting that a game they said was for us seems to now be targeting the retail crowd.

Private servers were so successful because they were free. =) Getting 300,000 people to play free WoW isn't a hard sell.
No changers are the only group that will be happy with Classic.
You have it backwards.
Pretending that sharding isn't a big deal lol.
Stay ez!

Incorrect, even free games that are bad don't get played.
They were successful, because it was awesome.
You are just to genuinely stupid to understand it.
Sure, ignore us. See how many people play the game without "us".

Then explain why any private servers that play more modern versions of WoW are dead? People who think they're popular because they're free are stupid.

Stop lying.
Private servers were successful because they were the closest things to vanilla available. If Classic has non-vanilla features whereas private servers emulate vanilla better then people will fcking ignore classic especially if having to pay for it.
Being free is nice but I'd rather pay for an official Blizzard vanilla server than some random private one.

LOL! It's going to be included in the WoW sub. There will be plenty of people playing it without "you".

LoL well of course they aren't happy blizzard wants to change classic legacy server into bfa.
You can't say something stupid like they will never be happy with the game, when people who are already unhappy with the game want to add stuff in like sharding, guild banks, cross realm tech.
Oh no, people who actually have standards and are holding Blizz to them. The horror. Why don't we all just accept whatever we're given on a silver platter and just sit here and eat our biscuits?
Yeah no. There are tons of valid concerns and criticisms among the screeching. You're selectively ignoring it if you think it's not there.

Because you can still play more modern versions and you cannot play those old versions at all, but yes some are going to be more popular all things being equal though, but yes people who think pservers are popular solely due to ANY one reason are not being truthful.
Or maybe no changes means no changes and you and blizzard should just listen and release classic with no changes.

I did, it was a super lagfest as we kited the boss monsters to cenarian hold and had them kill them while we kept the tag.
People who want to play Classic deserve an authentic experience, for better or worse. Not to mention, stuff like sharding is already unpopular in BFA. It has no business being added here.
It seems like such an incredibly easy task with all their time, money, and resources. Private servers already managed to pull this off and the game itself is basically already done, all they really have to do is make it compatible with bnet and their other infrastructure. Yet somehow they managed to fail spectacularly and refuse to let go of one of the worst new features around.
