I don’t know where it is coming from or what is causing it, but at anytime of day and on any toon of mine anywhere in wow will get an audio emote come over the speakers in a creepy voice saying “You will die” two times back to back. It has been happening nearly everyday at least one time but usually happens multiple times a day.

The thing is most of the time I am not even in a dungeon/raid/or scenario.

Can confirm. It’s DBM. It’s used for when you are afk but aggro something.
Just disable the auto afk tag removal in game settings. Then type /afk. Then you will get spammed by DBM with this audio.

I cannot find the setting, I am usually not afk when it happens and can be anywhere in the game like heading to a world quest, getting ready to about to que for an instance such as Torghast, or just simply at a vendor. I even hear it on low level toons just going around questing.
Have you called an exorcist?

After talking to someone on the DBM discord, it was a bug with the DBM-LogoutTimers addon causing it. They have fixed it.
