You will be left behind in WoTLK Classic

Those are sources. How accurate they are has yet to be discovered (we really won’t see until wotlkc drops cause blizz won’t share their numbers).

You have yet to provide a definite source.

That’s subjective. The current state of tbcc, imo, is a complete dumpster fire in terms of community, unless your in a discord group or guild.

There’s very little in terms of a social experice outside of that. Spamming in /4 for LFM TANK AND HEALS is not a social experience. LFD wouldn’t hurt the social groups already in place, but not including it harms those trying to get to that level.

Classic Era is more fun anyways

Can they just add LFR too so I can do naxx with minimal effort and get carried as lazy as possible .

I really don’t want to find a guild or establish a friends list.

I am getting old and my eyes and hands can’t handle the lfg spam

I dont even know how to install the bulletin board add-on . and I hear the retail lfg board is an improved version which seems like it’s even more complicated to use.

Plz.

Help.

LFR wasn’t in Wrath, irrelevant.

But they started making it because of wrath and so it should prolly be in wrath. Glad you agree.

Plus didn’t you see what I said? I need it

Nah LFD is fine and should be in the start. LFR is something else but is irrelevant to this conversation since this isn’t about Cata. Don’t forget to take your Prozac friend.

Finally someone said it.

If by the end you mean roughly 48%. Wrath release november 13th 2008. Cata release dec 7 2010. So let’s just say 25 months to keep it simple. Dungeon finder went in dec 8 2009. 13 months without dungeon finder, 12 months with dungeon finder.

People need to stop pretending it was some last second addition to the expansion. It was halfway through. And by the way, Classic and TBC Classic both used the final version of every system regardless of how late into the game it was added. This is the first time they’re deviating from that. Why? So that we can keep seeing lfg spam of selling and buying dungeon runs. Because apparently that’s worth preserving.

“Halfway” with what exactly to show in that time? What new dungeons did we have halfway through the expansion before ICC was introduced? One. We had already farmed the content to completion and then some, friend.

So by this logic, 3.0.1 DKs should be in at the start of Wrath classic in their overpowered state then yes? Initial iterations of talents should also be in there, including the broken rogue spec that basically allowed them to get 5 combo points every GCD in raids. Because we don’t want to deviate from how Wrath was at the beginning right?

Did you know LFD was released with ICC? I bet you didn’t. Now you know.

And after, it maintained that peak. LFD didn’t cause a drop

And we would be fine with getting it then. The problem is Blizz said we won’t be getting it period.

There are people in greens killing Illidan. I wouldn’t worry about it.

With dungeon finder came Forge of Souls, Pit of Saron and Halls of Reflection.

But what does that have to do with anything? What dungeon finder did is make all the earlier dungeons relevant content for players. The bonus rewards means you could just do dungeons and get outdated tier sets…but tier sets nonetheless. Remove that system and why do dungeons? People won’t. It’s dead content and Wrath Classic is just a raid logging game with very few players.

Many of us actually would like to have the traditional patch progression. There was a fair bit of disappointment when Classic first came into being that we weren’t getting it that way. We also miss out on some nice things like blood being a DPS spec that a large amount of the Death Knight player base enjoyed playing as. And then we have the ghoul on death Unholy talent gone… RIP.

Those are GDKPs and those ‘in greens killing Illidan’ are being hard carried.

That’s not how that works.

I said when ICC came out. Which is when we had the dungeon finder come out. Until that point we had only one additional dungeon added to the game. We had farmed all our rep to max, we had leveled multiple alts by then. We had finished with what the game had to offer and it was a way for Blizzard to fix the issue of people not doing the older content as much. I’m not against the LFD tool. But seriously, the way you fanatics drone on like it was the second coming of Christ and it fixes all your problems is just absurd.

This doesn’t entirely invalidate them. Of all the polls people have presented, none have shown a majority for no-LFD. If no-LFD was in favour by the community you would expect to at least find a few with a no-LFD majority, which is not the case. The fact that none with a substantial vote count show a no-LFD majority would suggest that pro-LFD is the majority of the community… we just can’t say by how much.

To say they are ALL manipulated is a massive stretch, since you would expect just as many (if not more) to be manipulated in favour of no-LFD if they were indeed the majority.

That person you quoted is simply wrong. Subs peaked around Cata pre-patch. Aka a year+ after Dungeon Finder was added.
