Seriously, how is this still a thing? It’s clearly not a timed out authentication, since it only happened after submitting a post, and the post in question still posts to the thread. It pops up on every single tab (if you have multiple open), and clicking the “Home” button in the dialogue logs you out even if you’ve logged in again already on another tab (but refreshing the page after logging in on another tab makes the pop-up go away and prevents it from logging you out again). And when logging back in, it seems to randomly pick a character from your account to post on, rather than the one you were just logged in as. The pop-up is also incredibly inconsistent, sometimes popping up after less than a day, sometimes not popping up for a month or more.
Please fix your website authentication. It’s beyond frustrating to have this pop up and have to go through a whole rigmarole just to get logged back in, on the right character, on each of those tabs you just opened to check your notifications.
