Exactly. It’s the exact same as going back and trying to make things work with your ex. Ya, you are still physically attracted to him/her, and want to smash, so you do. But then everything re-surfaces and rears its ugly head to why you broke. Feels good for a minute, but then you hate life all over again.
I thought I wanted it, and I still want it. The game’s great.
I disagree,. the ones that were there (myself included) are loving this game right now… it’s the retail kids that are crying like baby’s
Bow before the Mighty Horde Empire you Alliance peasants!
How many time do I have to tell you no I will not bow to the smelly Horde.
Yes you do smell just ask a flight master.
The only thing worse than the people crying about pvp on a pvp server is the “i told ya so” posts.
I can’t help but rub it in their faces, after being mocked for playing on a PvE Server. I believe PvErs deserve an apology for constantly being dragged through the mud, when we pretty much predicted how God awful the concept of Gankfest Servers function.
Lol, good luck with that
Exactly. PvErs have always been the end of the joke. Even though, we were right.
Some seem to have wanted a piece of cake, a similar piece from back in the day. Blizzard said ok, but instead of a piece of cake, they brought out 3 cakes and said here you go. Now you have one side on a sugar rush with the inevitable crash, and the other having a diabetic coma.
You can bring back the actual vanilla game but the community of players has changed. All jaded with knowing what they now know and 15 years of playing experience.
You can’t replicate the past experience.
*scratches head…I think I saw this on a math test once… can’t remember the answer though…
Anyway you are a human Alliance you do weird stuff,
Bow before the Mighty Horde Empire Alliance peasants!
Right that a few people made the mistake of playing on PvP servers? There’s a reason why there’s 11 PvE servers and 30 PvP servers.
World of Warcraft.
Absolutely.
And there’s a reason Gankfest Servers no longer exist in Retail.
I understand, but it’s evident that the playerbase (in general) isn’t about that Ganking lifestyle. Nothing wrong with it, let’s just be honest about it.
It actually enforces the opposite of the OP is saying. (Even though it’s obvious bait.)
Most of those who’re complaining are unable to play the game, just like back in the day when he said it.
Not going to argue on behalf of all complaints here, of course…just a majority (from what I’ve seen.)
“You think I enjoy being camped and being unable to do anything, but I don’t.”
Camping has always happened, but in most cases never to this extent with population sizes + a lack of BGs.
Or when they blew the kid off traditional server caps.
So what happened to that ratio over the years since 2005? Please do tell.
Sure, I can tell you.
PvP servers remained the most popular servers for the entirety of World of Warcraft history until the distinction was dissolved with the introduction of Warmode.
No, not really. Ill dig up my whole little treatise on that tomorrow, or you can dig my posts if you care to see the facts, but, I sense yoo are seeking an echo chamber regsrdless and cant be wrong, at any cost
Okay, you do that.
Ill dig up my 2005-2009 numbers where pvp was lapped by pve. With #s
