Yeah, but people want this one. Until they have it then it becomes just another +1 and they move on to worrying about how they’ll get the next one.

They arent reading at all! There is ZERO RAID FINDER ACHIEVEMENT! none, zero, zilch, nada, NOTHING is there. They are complaining because they THOUGHT raid finder was included when it never was to begin with

The achievement reads “Complete all three Fated raids in Shadowlands Season 4.”
There is a Fated raid finder.
If this was a business advertisement for a product, they’d be in court because of how they botched their wording.

And they have clarified that it applies to Normal+ only. Do you really think you’re going to rules-lawyer your way out of this?

I just pasted the achievement text. It says fated raid. There is an LFR fated raid.
What more is there to get?

This is from a post Wowhead made recently. The achievement in game has been there for 3 months and says any difficulty.

Or you could put in some work and pug the raid till you have cleared all the bosses.
No but they’re a public company with scores of employees and should be held to a higher standard.
You don’t post something and then go “oh my bad”.
You either honor the original wording or you’re going to get bad PR. Which they’re currently getting.

Every single guild i have joined has made it seem normal and all that with regular requirements, until you join the discord and actually start talking to them through the mic. Then you are told to go after and obtain all these requirements in order to raid. It starts out normal for a while, but then gets shady.
So there is no proof. It is all talk which is what they want. Because you cannot really prove what others say over discord. But you can see how bad people are by what they are typing out. That is alot easier to track and provide proof.
But that is why they do it. To rope enough people in. They usually do it with a bunch of like minded people also. But i swear as soon as i join the discord servers, it is only a matter of time before all those requirements are placed on me, and , at that point, i just lose interest, and leave the guild. I generally join casual guilds because of this, But i have seen a few of them try this bullcorn to. They don’t type anything out in guild chats or anything, or even in the discord descriptions. It is only through the mic.
Very similar to how asmongold was able to ninja loot mounts and items from folks back in the day by telling folks what the loot requirements were through word of mouth over the microphone in ventrillo, and then changing it to master looter at the last minute. The developer’s could not do anything about it because the proof wasn’t in the chat logs.
Even then, i just do not enjoy raiding. Simple as that. I don’t mind LFR when there is a reward involved, such as the molten core hound in wod. But the achievement for the gooey slime saber had it worded in a way for so long that LFR would be a requirement. Now it isn’t. And Now it is either hoping blizzard reverses the decision, or not getting anything. And, at this point, i am fine either way at this point.
Seriously, my gear in shadowlands doesn’t even count as season one gear. It counts as nothing gear. But getting my gear ilvl up high enough to do LFR is alot easier and convenient than trying to set up a normal raid makeup.

Just making crap up now, I see. They make tooltip corrections all the time. Either because the functionality/requirements were changed, or because there was simply an error in the text in the first place.
That is from the Wowhead post from the 28th, when the Kaivax post happened. After then everyone was aware of the achievement being Normal+. It’s still listed as for any difficulty in game.

This is what it said all the way up until a couple days ago. Now it says normal mode only required. Before it implied all modes would be good enough.

sighs its been 2.5 years since Castle Nathria and half that time for SoD, to be frank, if you dont have any achievement to show that you know the mechanics at least, theres a problem. No im not being elitist here, but the ones building hte groups, are just toxic
They should have just given us the mount for a six month sub reward or put it on the store.

See this? this is a PRE REQUISITE, you can kill the LFR Fated Bosses, HOWEVER. there is NO META ACHIEVEMENT for Raid Finder.

IS THE META ACHIEVEMENT, RAID FINDER will not give you credit for a NORMAL MODE ACHIEVEMENT.
