huh?
this happens to raids… the “most popular” content every season. LOL

I have my toxic image to uphold.
Have to make him not a liar lol
Not anywhere close to the level it’s happened in delves. They made delves extremely easy and then over buffed their rewards.
No way delves are difficult enough to justify myth track rewards.
That’s awesome! Yeah, we had a healer last week - that was the reason we made it through. They were magical.
Also had a good tank on the run shortly after. His positioning was phenomenal and it made bosses I had thought were harder almost easy. Was very enjoyable.
I agree with op. I think the elitist players’ behavior are part of the problem. Quitting after a mistake, not giving others a chance, raider io and dps meters, blaming others for his or her own problem, bragging/gloating, rumor spreading, and and the most problematic is when livestreamers/content creators encourages these elitist or toxic behaviors then blizzard does nothing about it except for supporting it.
When can people actually enjoy and have fun while doing the dungeon as a team? Where are the team-players at? I want to be in a dungeon group that focuses on beating the crap out of the timer instead of each other.
M+ was created for people who don’t have the time, commitment, or friends to raid, but still craved challenging group content. It was always intended to be puggable, bite sized challenges with rewards that rival raid drops.
I was around in Legion for M+'s debut, and it took all those in-between players like myself up by a storm. Wildly successful, obviously, and a significant bit of that success can be directly attributed to its puggability.
You said you’ll say it to your grave so you probably won’t care or maybe not even read this, but I 100% disagree with you. Spoken like a delver, honestly.
Well, it’s obviously because all of the toxicity comes from 5 and below and 18+! Duh!
I’m sure they did back in the day on another account when life and wow were awesome and perfect. Now, it’s just toxic garbage they avoid because of reasons.
They were the last non-toxic person to play M+. After they gave up on the fight to save M+ from itself it was all downhill.
Always the elitist problem. Most good players aren’t leaving after one mistake.
It’s multiple mistakes that shows the run won’t be timed or even completed.
Why do you never blame the person that’s actually causing the key to brick?
I’ve lost track of how many “WoW killers” have been released over the past 20 years. I think only a couple of them are even still around.
I remember a friend said WoW was terrible around Cata and that it was going to be dead in 3 years or less. That never panned out of course.
And that’s perfectly fine. I know I’m not going to change any minds.
But seriously, what reasonable, likely chagnes do you think they could make except create options? The vision of what M+ was at creation and what the community made them can both be true at their respective timeframes, but when they made M+ “harder” in DFS4, it looked pretty clear to me that “this is meant to accompany delves, which enable M+ to be less approachable and even less PUG friendly.”
They can give you systems, they have given you systems, but how do you address the free will to just not invite? How do you address “one person thinks the key is toast and wants their time back” other than saying “play M+ with friends, no really,” potentially by adding delves?
They are easier now than before the squish. Larger percentage of people are clearing 10s(old 20s) now than ever before.
WoW was known for being the most solo friendly MMO (if not the only one) when it launched. People have been playing WoW solo since launch.
It is almost common knowledge at this point that WoW is an extremely toxic game, but the WoW forums never fail to play stupid about it anyways lol
All of my toxicity comes from eating the wrong paste when I was a kid. I should have known the knock off Elmer’s brand Trollmer was going to do this to me.
Which is why I put “harder” in quotes. At the time, it was a deterrent to point toward groups of friends or delves. If that’s been undone, that’s great!
I mean, I don’t think they need to address anything. M+ has been trucking along as it always has been.
Sometimes a problem isn’t a problem
Old man yells at clouds.
That’s a lot of words for “I think having standards is toxic”
This is usually the root of the “M+ is toxic” rhetoric. People cannot stand the idea that other players have standards and don’t want to waste time in bricked keys, or give that 100 io, 680 ilvl guy a chance at their +10. That’s “toxic” to y’all.
You don’t. It’s not toxic to decline someone who clearly isn’t qualified for a key.
You don’t. You let them leave and go next.
These problems are created by sensitive people who want easy access to everything, hence why they went to delves. And that’s great, I’m happy that delves exist and are successful for people who enjoy it.
My guild got Plexus and Naaz down in mythic last night in 10 pulls.
But now we’re all toxic sweatlords who invite pugs just to tell them to l2p.
