Gotta do something to pass the time. Stockades are a snoozefest

Have you played Classic before?

Have you played Classic before?

I can quote you just straight up lying too.

SOD is not classic with balance changes and extra content within the context of what vanilla was. They went way too far. Even enhancement shamans were turned into a retail version! Instead of just buffing WF and altering mana costs, they went full retard and CHANGED the class.

Exactly, it’s not even vanilla or classic. Might as well boot up retail.

why are you here ? go play SOD.

Real talk: If you want to argue semantics until the heatdeath of the universe be my guest. If you want literally zero changes whatsoever you were never going to get that to begin with without a time machine. Era servers are the closest you’d ever get to that, and referring to them as “no changes” is far easier than “some changes in order to help with overall stability, emulate old systems that simply aren’t available anymore, or background system changes like pvp that are objectively better for the health of the game”

If you still insist on arguing the literal words used and not the essence of what was said then you should take a long, hard look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself where you went wrong in your life. Or don’t, I’m not your mom, but I’m certainly done here

Legitimately though, if they release plus in a year, normalize rage, bring the bottom tiers up to within like 10-15% (or say just above the 200 dps needed for rag for an average parse in pre raid bis), give paladins a taunt, make bears crit immune, and bring in a few VERY select abilities that eliminate some of the glaring pain points or really help define a class (like victory rush, shockwave, and war-bringer for warriors for example), would you play that? Do you think most of the community would enjoy playing that more?

Like yes things like dungeon finder need to stay out. It destroys the community. But playing what most classic players consider the best version of the game (classic or TBC) with better balanced but still diverse specs?

It’s not semantics. You ignored everything I said that contradicted you and then stuck your fingers in your ears like a child.

Here are several changes to the game. Most of them never addressed, some as old as a year. Your response was literally and I quote.

You aren’t even reading what people say. You are just here to be a contrarian. A waste of data.

Classic Era clones were sold for real world money with the explicit intention they would remain as they were when TBC launched. You can try to misrepresent me as some no-changes extremist and then claim I’m the one doing semantics when you can’t even keep one discussion on the rails.

So you do understand the Classic Era receives constant changes, some of them being intentional and not just bugs. So you are just being bad faith, thanks for clearing this all up.

Have you not? What content can non-warriors not clear?

balancing things out for a bespoke actual Classic+ is fine, but brining the bottom up is not what needs to happen. The amount of crit warriors are having access needs to come down by 2 different methods, ignite needs to be made personal to the mage so that its no longer a rolling buff that can be kept up by a team of mages (this sounds like a personal buff but its not, its a big nerf)

Bringing the top down is really what needs to be done, as for the balance of power I am fine wtih fury being king of DPS, just that it does not need to be so by such a margin.

My personal bias is achieving a state of game play more similar to 1.9, because 1.12 is clown land.

I ask because only someone who hadn’t played Classic would have such blindingly stupid questions.

You are either a moron with an astonishingly gigantic ego to comment on a topic you have no experience with, or you’re a moron who is cataclysmically obtuse and here arguing in bad faith.

This is ironic coming from a retail player lol. I think I’m being extremely clear with everything I’m saying.

Now answer my question, what content can non-warriors not clear?

The top definitely needs to be brought down in a big way, but there’s no reason to leave specs like balance, ret, and enh doing just this side of negative damage. There’s plenty of room to do both and you’d still end up with massive DPS disparities.

What content can an empty raid slot not clear?
