Yes, that is classic WoW. It isn’t classic+ or classic with changes (like the SoD abomination).
If you don’t like that stuff… Maybe classic isnt the game for you? That’s fine if it isn’t but leave it alone.

I mean there’s two types of classic players.
The first wants #nochanges
The second just wants to play in the classic universe but is fine with changes that make the game more enjoyable.
I’m in the 2nd camp myself.
I mean, it’s already got changes and classic isn’t vanilla, so they could change other things.
I would like a few more changes (that I don’t expect to see).
If they do or not, I’m still playing.

It amazes me that the servers have already shipped with changes yet there are still people that cry “NO CHANGES!!!111one”
If you want no changes whatsoever you’ve got era. SoD is for people who want massive changes that effectively make Vanilla into an entirely different game. The fresh servers are an opportunity to have minor changes that increase the quality of life while maintaining the original feel of Vanilla. Whether you like that or not, they’re already here

we’ve been asking for c+ for like 3 years now?
we asked for fresh classic because we had the itch for a fresh something and they didnt give us c+ … they did make some good changes tho.
Well thats because blizzard made, game play, class and loot changes.
SoD is extremely far removed from classic, it’s on the same engine but it doesn’t ‘feel’ like classic whatsoever.
Minor qol changes and entire class revamps as well as new talents are two completely different things. It’s fine to not want either but don’t be disingenuous or obtuse about his comment.

The raid group compositions being mostly warriors is stupid.
Shadow priest being totally completely useless for the entire life of classic if stupid.
The fact that WE DON’T HAVE DUAL SPEC AVAILABILITY DATE ANNOUCED is stupid.
Half the players I know only rerolled different classes because of the debuff cap change and especially dual-spec announcement. Low and behold that debuff cap limit will not change the endgame meta at all. So what was the point?
