This is very true. Being on a dead server really sucks, id rather wait on a que for the first few weeks then be on a dead server not even a year into classic, and having to start all over.

that people are willing to say they’d give up playtime for a game that requires a monthly sub to wait in queues to “avoid a dead server” when the game was originally meant to house 3k players

You think furniture and cars and food and literally everything you have in your city was brought in how exactly? It was brought in by hard working Americans like myself. So while you sit at your computer desk which was also brought to your city by a truck driver on your computer which was also brought in by a truck driver dont think for one second you’re any better than any other hard working American because you have a degree or a higher paying job.
