You need to force people to migrate to other servers. You won’t be able to remove layering on Herod @ any point in Classic since there’s too many people on it.
L o c k herod and try to give incentives to migrate out… Idk what incentive though.
Blizzard, just give us statistics so u can prove us “tinfoilers” wrong? We can assume for sure there’s at least 100k+ people on Herod lmao.
dw guys this is all tinfoil, the people whining about more servers totally weren’t right! but it’s too late unfortunately. if only blizzard listened immediately omegalul.
“The message will deter people.” - This doesn’t deter people on retail, why would it deter people now?
“The “Full message” will deter people” - This doesn’t deter people on retail, why would this deter people now?
“People will want to leave the mega servers.” - Every comment I’ve seen has proven otherwise
“Mega servers are fun!” - Not when the game has layering through its entirety (the game wasn’t suppose to house this many players, ONLY retail… Was suppose to. Or whenever the new spawning/tagging mechanics came into play.

Why do you need statistics when you obviously have your crystal ball?

How are people assuming so high? Like what’s this based on?
I’m all for them releasing actually accounts that made characters on Herod etc. Let’s face it no one wants to play on a dead server, but same could be said about a 40 minute q just to play after work.

When the game launches and there’s a login queue… you can bet people will start moving realms. So stop panicking.

? A blue post is literally asking people to not create more characters on Herod and there was a 60k+ queue screenshot for herod on just name reservations.
Why even comment? You’re not going to be good at retail or classic mate.

But we want servers to crash just like the real classic launch. No changes right?

It wouldn’t really be a WoW forum without people pontificating on facts they don’t have a CLUE about.

Layering was never intended to, nor shall it ever, be removed. Layering was the “solution” to queues. Now we get both.
What did you expect?

it actually feels amazing knowing that these forums arent totally anonymous and i can look at ur armory to know ur bad at this game
its ok if u think i dont know what im talking about (i mean im literally going off of educated assumptions and proof) but 1 thing is certain… im way better than u at video games! go to sleep u need to be at work @ 9
Hah, this guy thinks he’s an armory detective. Uncover the truth man!

I mean, I expected it. I’m just trying to be optimistic xd.
It’s obviously not going to get removed. When they showed this amount of servers, they made it very obvious. I almost think the public figures saying it’s “going to get removed” are getting paid lmao.
dw guys the Classic servers have different tech than BfA’s…

Definitely do not lock Herod. Keep the zerg off of my server. Thanks.

Could be. Could be a lot of those people left and found homes on other servers also because the q turned them away. I know it was at like 20k when I signed on and said 40 minute q. But I was in in 8 minutes and the q dropped crazy fast. So I’d guess many people went else where when they saw that ?

i cant take u seriously since ur somehow bad at bfa
dont post below unless u have achievements that show ur not slobbering out of the mouth right now
I’d take a million people on my screen and server crashes over layering any day of the week.
But just remember, activision said layering was necessary to prevent server queues.
Now we’ll have queues, layering, AND crashes. I guess we’ll never know how private server owners managed massive populations on home-built servers in their mother’s basements.
