You literally just ruined you're best new feature

The people who want main story stuff to be super hard always make me laugh. Yes let me sign right up for no opt out mythic questing.

That was an option? Now I’m really peeved. I always find out about the scams a day late…

Because you are wrong about it being intended as ‘challenge’ content. Just because there is a scale of difficulty doesn’t make it challenge content.

Dungeons have a scale of difficulty - doesn’t make them ‘challenge’ content.

Check LFG, you might even find some remnants leftover, but yes, it was quite lucrative and nearly every Prot Paladin I know was doing it for easy money because Prot is wildly overtuned for Torghast. Incidentally what spec are y-…ah, I see.

You’re right. Its not challenge content. Thanks for agreeing with me.

So over tuned I couldn’t clear lvl 7 last week. They’d want their money back.

Unfortunate you missed out, but you might also consider that you are playing one of the easiest classes in the game in the content you’re discussing, if you seek challenge, might I suggest trying another class or spec? I think a Mage would give you a real dose of difficulty if floor 7 Prot Pally was the challenge level you liked.

I would argue it was ruined on implementation.
Who plays wow for this?

I think it’s a solid minigame. :woman_shrugging:

Some folks play for pet battles. It’s w/e

I don’t doubt it would. I don’t think that there shouldn’t have been changes made. Particularly to classes like rogues and mages. Instead of just blanket nerf bomb it into utter oblivion. They could have gave the classes that needed a boost a buff. Or a special anima. Or a heal they can use in torghast only. Anything other than make the entirety of torghast trivial.

Right before this most recent nerf they nerfed tanks and healers in torghast. I didn’t complain about it. Just kept playing. Tuning needed to happen. This was doing bonsai with a chainsaw.

I just hope that Blizzard eventually adds new layers beyond 8 and scales them in difficulty and doesn’t nerf them when players hit a wall.

I still wish for a virtually infinite scaling torghast someday, just like it was in beta… where it’s not meant to be completed rather just so players can push themselves and see how far they can go before ultimate defeat, and mostly just for bragging rights and achievements as there wasn’t really any worthwhile items or anything to get from pushing as far as you could.

Like D3 rifts. Which I loved to push. It was like having WoW and D3 merging a bit for me this xpac. Probably one of the reasons why I’ve like the look and feel of the place so much.

This should not be flagged. Cmon people.

People are very sensitive.

I enjoyed it
Not everything in the game has to be intense and long
Save that for high end keys and arenas

I mean, it rewards ash and a few memories. If you want difficult, do arenas, high keys and mythic raiding. There are plenty of challenges in this game.

Google “WoW pacifist picks millions of flowers to hit new level cap.” I think that’s your style of gameplay.

Why do people keep parroting is unfounded claim of “ go at your own pace” means designed for braindead steamrolling, to compensate for the communities inability to git gud?

Should probably just halve the soul ash from torghast at this point, not like their is anything difficult these people will be needing leggos for lmao.

But it stops at layer 8 so what challenge exactly? I don’t see any endless torghast. I don’t see any torghast in the great vault. You’d have a far better challenge doing keys above +15 or mythic raiding. Until they add endless layers in torghast it’s just faceroll when you’re geared.

Are those the only three things that can and should be rewarding?
