Thank God I’m not a kid now, There was a freedom Back in the seventies and eighties and to some extent the early 90’s…
No cellphones, Parents couldn’t track you they told you go outside and play and don’t come back until it’s dark…
we did not know we lacked anything, because we did not have anything to compare it to, and there is a freedom in that too…

I know all that mattered was your world and the people in it. Also all your friends had to agree where to meet well in advance so people where way way more dependable and social before cell phones and pagers. No question I’m glad I’m not a kid now as well. Man hanging out back then was great.

ehh… i’d say they don’t know what an 8-track is… or a cd-rom, for that matter. i mean, they’ll know what a dvd is for another couple generations, atleast… then it’ll be bluerays… man, does anyone else remember hdtv plug-ins? with the 6 plugs? or like, av plug-ins, with the 3? or those god-awful satellite/analog screw things, you screw into the back of the tv?
