You know when you finish a M+?

You know when you finish an M+ or upgrade your vault reward, you get that super annoying splash screen that pops up in the middle of your screen that you can’t click through?

Any way to get rid of that? What’s it called? If it has a name, I might be able to find it in Elvui and resize it and put it in the corner of my screen.

Any ideas?

It’s the popup that shows your M+ group at the end of the dungeon. It also happens when you open up a vault slot.

Yes, I’d also love to know which UI overlay bit that is, to delete or hide it permanently! :+1:

Not possible, its built into the game engine. Only devs know what it is(the coders) and they arent just gonna tell you.

Yeah I just love when I accidently hover over it for a bit longer and it stays around as well.

It’s much worse in raid where you can’t roll on the item until the unmovable box goes away.

There is a keyboard shortcut that will highlight all the hidden UI elements and the add-ons they interact with. I forget what it is though. But once you know what it is, you can hide with Move anything or similar add-ons.

I don’t know why they put the change in. It was fine before. Fixed a problem that wasn’t there. Some of the stuff these developers decide to put in the game leaves you wondering……smh.

All you have to do is run a /framestack macro and take a screenshot.

This is fixed in 10.2.5.

How do people say stupid stuff like this so confidently??

The most frustrating part is when the ui bugs and the frame is hidden instead of removed and still prevents clicks. Nothing tilts me harder.

Imagine still doing keys lmfao

What do you do with your time?

Duck around? you?

it is very annoying

There is actually an addon that can remove it permanently, as well as resizing it or moving it to a different part of your screen. You can move, resize or delete any UI element you want. It’s a must-have for me.

The addon is MoveIt. After you download it,

  1. Next time you complete a M+ or get loot from the great vault, make sure to quickly type /fstack to bring up the ingame UI frame directory. You don’t need another addon for this, it’s built into WoW. Just make sure the UI element you want to remove is on your screen when you type /fstack

  2. After typing /fstack, hover your mouse over the UI part you want to change. You’ll see a window pop up that shows you the framename of what you’re hovering over. You’ll see a bunch of random names, but just find the one that’s highlighted in the list or that has two small arrows pointing to it.

  3. Either take a screenshot of WoW or if your memory is good, memorize the name of the frame.

  4. Open the addon by typing /mit and type the name of the frame into the prompt at the top and click Add Frame.

  5. After you put the UI frame name into the addon, you can rescale it, delete it, or move it anywhere on your screen. I’ve changed and rescaled my entire UI…everything from the loot window, zone text popups, quest dialogue frame, character gear frame, world map pane, etc.

The previous addon that did this was called Moveanything, but a year or so ago the creator stopped updating it and after downloading MoveIt I haven’t looked back. Takes a while to master it, but it’s one of the most important add-ons that I have.
