they gave us three new dragonriding talents though… should be impossible to have excess points with nothing to use them on

It is. While two of the talents were made obvious, one snuck its way in the upper tiers.

Yap. I was confused at first too when I got 2 points and it said I could spend them with the ones at the bottom both cost 3. Only after collecting all the glyphs did I realize there was indeed a third node.

I did the same thing. I had two extra and the stupid constant popup on logging in was driving me bonkers. I finally went into the tree and slowly checked each node and found the new one buried there for two points.
Welp. I did all the new dragon racing achieves without it then. Or does it get disabled?
I did try a dragon race with the talents and it didn’t let me activate the stored vigor one. So those just might not be provided for the races.

The vigor regen one? Yes, it’s disabled in races. I checked the other day.
What I wish is when you have points to buy all available talents and there were to choices to make that they just gave them to you. Having to click the options on all your alts gets tedious.
