And we get a trait in 8.1 that makes improved death even more op. I think this warrants a 10% dps nerf.

Well, glad someone finally explained Shamans’ niche! My shaman definitely dies faster than even my clothies in PvP. Not sure how that mail armor and shield actually help.

To be fair survivability is better than it was in legion and wod. Potency not so much and cast bars…

Reincarnation is only good if we have a healer ready to bring us back to life, since usually when reincarnated I’ll died again in no time. I hope elemental shamans get some buff at 8.1 cuz currently I could only do well vs 3-5 targets, more or less than that and fall on DPS and the ST DPS is really not there until +350 ilvl.
Survive isn’t a thing since the crappy nature guardian talent is more often a trap that it could help us to survive. If I have 100k HP and I got to 30% then I’ll be at 30k and after the heal I’ll got 37k which means nothing.

I refer to my Reincarnation as Vanish, except my Vanish has a 30m CD and gold sink attached.

You mean you guys use it for something OTHER than Vanish? :slight_smile:

It’s to help out whoever is doing the ‘Call to Arms’ quest . Find a Shaman , slaughter him and then kill him again . Bang 20 percent completion of quest !!

I don’t find this true, with my raid group at all. I’m 9/10 times the last person to bite the dust. Though this may be because I don’t generate enough threat through damage for the boss to even pay attention to me.

However, sending 20 people through the MOTHER door at once tickles my health bar (Astral Shift, Harden Skin, Spirit Wolf, and Pack Spiritx2 for recoup), while I see others dipping too low for comfort.
