Americans, or even the entire western market, no longer decides what games are made, how they will be made or what’s In them, same with movies. China is the sole decider now, so if you find you don’t like how current games or movies are being made or run, it’s because your taste conflicts with that of the Chinese market.
You did this to your selves, by spending less on games and movies, while the Chinese spend more, you relinquished your dollar vote. So all those, “I quit wow posts” all you did was make it so you will never decide what’s in games or movies ever again. Companies will listen to the market that spends the most.

I was more referring to the effect that the novel coronavirus has a bunch of their major cities on lockdown, people are not allowed to leave their homes, and nobody is purchasing anything. It’s a disaster for them.
