I am having this issue as well
This is happening to me every time I go to the character select screen and even when changing servers.
I have found that closing the game (alt-F4) and restarting it fixes it. Did you try that?
still happening is there a fix??
I close the game completely and reopen. I don’t think I’ve ever had it immediately repeat.
yeah same its still frustrating when it pops up sometimes but I guess its a random bug and not easy to find

Try scan and repair (its the cog wheel next to the play button)
Happens occasionally to me, too. Kinda absurd I’m being disconnected as I… logout.

I get this frequently when I use ‘/Logout’ instead of ‘ESC + Select Logout’. I had this occur on my old PC and fresh install on my new Laptop, basically the repair option doesn’t fix it without even have installed addons.

I have never used /Logout, yet I still see this happening occasionally.
I have this message appearing occasionally as well. It happened during this and last year and still exists in October 2022.

Yep same. Only been happening when logging out. Then the reconnect button pops up. Flushed the router, resets, etc, and still happening.
Started happening for me as well
Do a alt-F4 to close the game and see if that clears it…Murdercarpet told me about that and it worked for me to stop getting that error when logging to another character.
Still happening.
