You have been disconnected from the server. (WOW51900319)

I keep getting randomly disconnected from the server.

Listed below are all the troubleshooting measures I have taken to try to resolve this issue.

  1. Changed the background FPS to 30fps

  2. Lowered the foreground FPS

  3. Fix Network in World of Warcraft (unchecked Optimize Network for Speed)

  4. Purchased a new ethernet cable

  5. Verified I’m logged out of battle.net once in the game

  6. Reset the User Interface (renamed Cache folder to CacheOld etc)

  7. Reset Router

  8. Updated all drivers for graphics card and operating system (Windows 10)

  9. Flushed DNS

  10. Closed all other applications in the background

  11. Disabled anti-virus software & firewall

  12. Updated firmware for router.

I’ve also uninstalled/reinstalled both Battlenet & Wow Classic.

Suggestions?

I’m having the same issues. Flushed DNS, released/renewed IP, reinstalled, changed MTU. Nothing is working on my desktop but my laptop runs it fine

I’ve been getting this problem a LOT!!! the last couple of weeks and have done most of the steps you mentioned to no avail. It’s pretty much unplayable at this point

What is even more frustrating is a lack of response. I see that other threads have had updates to their issues. Is this potentially linked to the IPV 6 issue stated in this thread:

Some type of clarification would be much appreciated.

What’s so frustrating to me right now is that classic was working perfectly fine on my laptop last night… but I went to log in after work today and I’m just getting booted every 15 seconds.

It looks like there’s a small bit of packet loss between the computer and the home router noted in the winMTR test. Overall it does look like you’ve done a great deal to resolve the issue.

My advice would be to test the game on a different network temporarily, such as a friend/family member’s house, internet cafe, or mobile hotspot (disable wifi on the phone to do this to ensure all data goes through the cellular network). If the problem does not happen on the other network, this does suggest the issue is related to the network device.

Let us know how the test goes or if the test is not possible.

There is no way I’m taking a desktop computer the size of an Alienware Aurora to another network location to troubleshoot this. I have zero connection issues in other games ranging from STOR, BDO, and ESO.

The Dell Alienware has the troublesome Killer network adapters. Start there with updates:

https://www.dell.com/support/home/ca/en/cadhs1/product-support/product/alienware-aurora-r7-desktop/drivers

Open the Categories dropdown then select Network - download the Killer Wifi adapter driver - Killer control center and the Killer Ethernet adapter drivers

Create a System Restore point < type that in Windows search box. Then install.

When the installation is all finished open Killer control center then disable “Advanced Stream Detect”

Super helpful Tratt! I’ll start there and report back with details.

Hard to say if that will be the solution. That Killer stuff is trouble like I mentioned. Good place to start.

I think that might have done the trick. Been playing for a bit over an hour and I haven’t been punted out yet. Thanks for your advice!! :grinning:

Keep testing - I’m sure some disconnects are server issues. Nothing you can do about those.

clearly, alot of people are having this issue, as its all over the forums.,… its absolutly insane to say that all these people instantly have issues with their home network, something was changed on blizzards end and its conflicting.

Killstheweak,

This is a generic error code. People will always have this error as long as it exists in our coding, as it’s the primary one for “We noticed you disconnected, but we don’t have enough information to tell why you disconnected.”

In most cases when we see these problems we can do individual troubleshooting to find the cause. Are you having this error as well?
