"You have an unclaimed gift"

Except I don't.

For the last day when I log on I get an indicator showing on the Gift panel of an unclaimed gift. Yet when I click on it, there is nothing.

Is Blizzard being deliberately cruel or is this some sort of idiotic joke bug?

Are where are seeing this? The launcher? The website?

If it's the launcher, it can sometimes not play nice with web integration. You can go directly to the website via a conventional browser here:

https://account.blizzard.com/gifts/

Hi, its on the launcher, the little gift box up at the top right next to my bnet name.

I went to the link you indicated (thank you for that) and there was a gift there, so thats good, but its odd the launcher option doesn't work.

Yeah.

Sometimes there's nit picky security settings that are lurking around that causes web content to not behave in non standard web browsers.
