never had people leave on me, I don’t think they’re that bad in comparison to some others they’ve put out in previous expacs.

No way people dislike this. This dungeon is neat.

or they just say they hate this dungeon

Never seen anyone have a problem with Threads besides simply not knowing what to do.

Dawnbreaker can DIAF though.

I despise dawnbreaker and would love to leave but I need to learn it before M+, oddly though out of all the dungeons I’ve run I’ve only had it twice now and once was me queing specifically for it.

Threads is an annoying slog that I can’t say is fun until after the “puzzle” but I’ve never left one and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else leave it either. Again though I don’t seem to get this one all that often. Maybe 5 times so far.

Skill issue

Not liking a dungeon because you don’t have fun in it and the game is played to have fun isn’t a skill issue its an issue with the design of the dungeon. Blizz already knew Dawnbreaker would be incredibly unpopular because they took many of the most hated features of several other dungeons and smashed them together in Dawnbreaker. Is it really any surprise so many people don’t want to waste their time with it?

Maybe people are too soft.

Dawnbreaker gonna get the nickname “Runbreaker” when it gets to mythic+.

PATIENCE my guy, holy crap, its not even 1 week over. Do you think you will be spending the ENTIRITY of the expansion in heroic dungeons? Are people going to be “Leaving after the first boss when the trinket doesn’t drop” in Mythics when you don’t get loot until the end of a fully cleared dungeon? NO.

Relax!

Yup plan on boycotting it entirely for m+ full stop

City of threads may be slow, but it’s not bad.

And dawnbreaker is easily one of my favorites so far. Players refusing to learn mechanics =/= bad design.
It’s unique, not as linear. It’s a solid dungeon.

I actually really like the Dawnbreaker. I can appreciate them doing something new besides yet another hallway dungeon. I just wish they would make the random enemies non targetable and just there for flavor.

I think people are overreacting to Dawnbreaker. It is an incredibly easy dungeon, and you can toggle normal flying on for it if you are that bad at dragonriding.

100% agree on City of Threads though. It’s a very poorly put together dungeon.

  1. the ships have no idea where my faeline is/where I put it/its relation to me
  2. los issues while standing right on top on someone
  3. the darkness spell sometimes kills you while you’re far enough away to be collecting the gold orbs
  4. city a bit too tightly packed, map doesn’t update to show captains

There are real issues with this place.

It could have been cool. They need to fix the bugs.

Bugs are different than bad design, which is what op was talking about.

i agree both those dungeons are trash.

City hide and seek mechanic is boring autorun fest.

dawnbreaker there is no savining it
that ship needs crashed into the ocean and a traditional dungeon established in the streets.

They’re both pretty quick once you figure it out.

Darkflame and Brewery are the real cancer.
