tbh, I’m under the impression that you’ll be able to do everything regardless of covenant. i thought the conduits in their multiple trees are designed to fill in the gaps?
i do think everyone should be able to do everything—i just like the idea of picking and choosing a direction to take your character in. like a subclass. obviously, they wont be even and will be constantly rebalanced…but isnt the goal for them to be?
I haven’t been shy about the fact that I don’t PvP. I’d hope it’s been pretty clear.
I don’t think it’s fair to people that only want to PvP to get run over by people that focus on PvE. I’d argue the opposite if that was the case at all, ever, too.
I mean, you could expand, at all, on why being able to compete at the highest level in every form of content is important to you. Or we can not have a conversation, that’s cool too.
Yea no, if you are a pvp player you won’t have to worry about people coming from pve beating you. Unless blizzard has failed like the past few expansions which has made pvp fall more and more out of relevancy with the rated pool becoming so small nowadays. But with the introduction of conquest gear making a return. It should mean that pvp players won’t get roflstomped by pve players. And just for the record, if pve is still required to pvp pvers will still rofl stomp pvpers.
So assuming that blizzard actually balances pvp for once, pvpers will only be getting rofl stomped by pvers if they are worse at pvp than that pver. There really isn’t any excuse to get “run over” otherwise.
It’s never been anyones problem until this expansion coming up when all of a sudden people ‘care’ about min/maxers.
I’ve got BIS enhancement gear, BIS elemental Shaman gear and BIS shaman gear.
Who cares what i keep in my bags or what I do with my time? It’s my choice if i want to do it. Blizzard is essentially forcing the choice out of my hands.
If i get invited to a key, i know i can perform at 100% optimal build as all 3 specs. I won’t be able to do that in Shadowlands.
I think they’ll probably fail miserably lol. But still, I’m hoping this doesn’t go too badly. Or that they’re insignificant enough to not really matter, in the end.
Still, I like what they’re going for. I like specializing! Plus I’m a guy with an SV hunter alt who always plays DK as icecap, I’ve made suboptimal work! Simming makes it a lot easier imo.
I feel like this is kind of debatable at the moment because we don’t know how good the conquest gear is gonna be and how long it takes to get it versus getting gear from m+ for an example.
Ah, so they should build the game around your fun and the nebulous number of people that agree with your version of fun, but not the people that enjoy winning battlegrounds with a fishing pole.
I’m so glad we had a productive conversation. I am very enlightened and have learned much about your perspective.
