You forget the most important thing

You classic lovers and retail trasher forgets 1 thing.

In order for the game to be enjoyable, you actually need “PEOPLE”, and lots of it.

Things that needs people to run:

  1. A healthy AH economy
  2. A healthy pool of players on every lvl range for dungeons/questing
  3. A healthy pool people online at various lvl range, and various time (because not all of us are in the same time zone)

Most people runs a dungeon 5 times at most, 10 if you’re a hardcore dungeon only player, before you eventually out level the dungeon. This pose a big problem as there’s not enough players in certain lvl range, in certain time frame, in certain required gear.

Before you claim “that’s why you need friends/community”, that also requires them to be either extremely nice that they carry people doing low level run, or happens to be in the same leveling bracket as you, something which doesn’t happen often in Real Life.

Plus, in retail we can jump in anytime (night/day/noon/graveyard) and there’s still someone to play with, in classic if you’re on the different time zone than the majority you’re on your own.

So, don’t be so quick to jump for joy. You have yet to see the trouble of spamming “LF1Tank for DM” for 1 hour and found none

K…Go back to just playing the game and not worrying about what other people do.

I’ve never had to wait an hour for a DM run.
