You find a strange object with a "DO NOT TOUCH" sign next to it. What do you do?

The scene is an empty stone building, in a large chamber room. At the center is a strange item that glows and pulsates with a red hue.

A very large and obvious sign post is placed next to it, with the words “DO NOT TOUCH” written in blood upon it.

How do you choose to approach it and what do you do?

Pick it up, maybe gnaw on it for a couple of seconds. Then put it back. If I live, maybe I’ll do it again.

I back away, leave the room, and do not even think of touching it until I can research what it does. If no research was forthcoming, I would prolly just end up leaving it alone.

Better safe than sorry.

I avoid touching the sign (as I clearly shouldn’t touch it) and poke the neat red glowy thing…

My Druid would look at it as suspect, probably run off to the Archdruids and come up with a plan to remove it safely.

My Warlock on the other hand…

Hahaha! Wasn’t prepared for that one.

Ah, yes, I was really hoping I would see a post like this. Everyone else’s is great too, hehe.

It’s nice to know the world of Azeroth is blatantly safe with these fine and sensible heroes.

Sometimes making the hard choices requires putting our lives on the line. For science. Or something.

I take the sign.

Remove the “Do Not” part of the sign and wait for the fun to happen.

Uhm, well I’d touch it if you tell me not to do something then I’ll do it. Now, if this were IRL different story, I think I’d be scared out of my mind, but in a sense of DND/WOW then I’d touch it anyways.
