I wish there was a 24 hour “are you sure about this” option. I’d pay more for the insurance. Oh well…I’ll wait until the Christmas debt is paid off.

You submit a ticket with x amount of hours of using the race change and they can revert it. I dont remember the timeframe. But most recently i was declined as i waited too long to make up my mind.

If you want a refund, you might as well give it a try. They’ll either do it or they won’t.

I don’t race change, I just make another toon. its so freaking quick to level these days.

It would be nice if Blizzard did something similar to FFXIV recently did with Fantasia. Where you have 24 hours to Race change repeatedly, So if you really didn’t like the Race change you can simply change back within the 24 hours. Or perhaps try something else, as long as it’s in the 24 hour window.

I’ve only ever used it once, to change my Warrior from Human to Worgen.
Didn’t regret it at all.

Unfortunately, I have never seen them give a refund on a buyer’s remorse race change. I did one from Human to Dwarf back in TBC and instantly regretted it. Thankfully, now you can do a “Trial Class” on the character create screen that will let you test it out before you decide. I do that sometimes when I ponder a race change.

They only refund unused character services, not once you’ve used it

Dragon regret hit a lot of people hard. Not as bad a gnome regret, but it’s up there.

It’s still there, Dracthyr head might be covering it though.
If your resolution is 1920 or lower it is hidden, you can just barely see it in the lower right corner. Have to Bump to 2300.

Where do you come up with the things you say? On 1920 I’ve seen it just fine since the dawn of its existence.

I made a ticket and got a refund for race/faction changes maybe 3 times in the past, not sure if they still do it after getting rid of all their support but it’s worth a try
You could copy a character to PTR, then race-change there, play it on there for a while to see if you like it. PTR is free with your subscription and it’s fake money on there. Copy characters randomly come with a Race or Faction change too.

Yup! I’ve been guilty of this! Heck, some toons I’ve race/faction changed multiple times, just for them to end up as the original race I had them as lol
