You don't want to play mythics, you want to be hard-carried

I know that low DPS or low stats can ruin a key even if the person is playing correctly because of timer, but there’s no acceptable excuse to do what people are doing now. Basically they only take full geared people that is farming points to upgrade some last few items and are joining random keys, if people did it when you we’re doing mythic proggresion you’d never get there, this is selfish. People are refusing 285 ilv in +10 keys, 290 ilv in +14 keys, that just don’t exists, I know with overgeared people it gets better and easier, I already had some keys being ruined for low ilv, but if you don’t even take people of your ilv you don’t want to play the game, you want to be hard carried. People refusing 285 ilv being the key owner with 269 ilv to bring another extremely overgeared guy for the run (even having other high ilv players already), I can’ t put in words how selfish that is, because it’s obvious that the lower ilv person needs the run so much more.

In a lower khara, for example, if the key is mine i’ll take some good geared people to do it because i know it’s broken, but every key in every level plus 10? What is the purpose of upgrading like a crazy to upgrade your ilv and keep trying to drop good items in every other slot if you just can’t go for runs? I understand perfecly that you don’t want your key to be ruined because of some detail, but taking 4 overgeared guys and you?

EDIT
I’m not saying you must be Jesus Christ in WoW and full your group with low geared people to “save them” and ruin your key, but things are starting to get unfair, like 1 hour straight trying to join a key of your ilv and getting refused, you don’t need 4 full build guys plus you to do a streets 13, a docks 14.

Maybe they got tired of being declined so they decided to start their own groups. The beauty of making your own group is you get to pick and choose who comes with. Want the highest geared/io people? Snag them if they apply. Want it all stacked for your armor type in hopes someone will funnel you something they don’t need? Alright. Haven’t had luck getting that one dungeon timed? A beefy tank, great healer, and pumper dps will help with that.

Besides, if I have the choice between people who are geared more than me and people who are geared like me or less, I am picking the geared people. I like to think I balance out my part in that because when I run low keys, I pick the lower geared people over the high-geared people.

But it boils down to, the leader makes the rules, everyone else can apply and hope they get picked.

I want to play mythics

Hey, I have a mid 270 mage and I host a couple of 16 ish keys and always run 16 until she reach 290. If that key fails, that’s okay because it’ll be 15 and be a little bit more strict to be a 16 again.

At least I don’t try to be a dead weight, I’m figuring out mage rotation and outdeep couple of times.

That’s pretty much my M+ experience. You help me get IO and fill the vault. I help you for whatever the reason you signed up for in the first place: Probably bonus valor for helping my mage.

I’m also the key bearer so my key, my rules.

The irony I find in this is the folks that say, “Just make your own keystone if you can’t get invited.”

They make keystone groups with their requirements barring the folks that wouldn’t invite them

Surprised pikachu face

You sure it’s that or maybe they are looking for or needing a particular class or spec? Post on your main and let us see what you play and what keys you have done and we’ll see who wants to get carried then.

I’m not sure what you would know about Mythic Keystones. You’re level 45 and have no Mythic dungeons completed.

tickle down keynomics

You make your own group, invite only geared players til you yourself is geared, then you join / get invited to random groups with people that want to be carried

the cycle goes on

I have a 301 ilv surv hunter and almost KSM, the problem happens with my alts, what about you?

I’m iLvl 293 and KSM and I was being passed over for 15’s last night.

Why? Because the team was probably looking for a specific roll that hadn’t been filled yet.

Did I take it personally? Not at all. I just found another to Q for and helped them double chest their 15 key while adding to my rating.

Welp. Since I have zero interest in doing the same dungeons over and over just to boost my ilvl. I don’t need to be carried. Why am I here again?

I perfectly agree that there’s always a way to do it, but you don’t think it’s ironic that a guy with 15 ilv less than you takes 4 fully complete 298 + great vault/Mythic raid items to do a 13? I got to 301 ilv mixing people needing the key with strong people, it’s the right thing to do, it should be intuitive. NOT RUINING THE RUN, I’m not asking for people act like Jesus Christ in WoW wanting to save everyone’s gear, but the constant refuse even in very low keys (10+ it begins actually) is starting to make things unplayable in most of my alts

This is why they need to just put mythic+ in a queue system. Players are way too picky at making their own groups

I just hit 285 this past week and I’ve been getting into 10-15 keys pretty easy when I PuG.

Pretty sure if this is happening you are doing something wrong.

ME TOO! The problem is happening now, specifically this week, people that already got their BiS in pugs are joining just to farm points (and obviously that’s ok) but then the key guy takes everyone overgeared instead of not being a selfish and putting at least one guy with the right ilv. You shouldn’t wait more than 1 hour to join a mythic of the same key level that you already did, that’s the problem

This has a be troll post right?

Right?
