So why are all servers across all realms down for hours every week!? Is there just one wall plug in the server room!?

What are they actually fixing that it needs to be down for more than an hour? Because none of the bugs for MoP I’ve reported through the bug report system are getting fixed… none of the bugs being reported in the forums are getting fixed.
I’m sure most of the responses will be unfunny joke answers… But I actually want to know.
Like it almost seems like they’re just maintaining the status quo without actually fixing anything or solving any problems. It would be nice if they would actually give a log of the things that are being fixed and the list of bugs they know about, and that they will get to later, but instead we just sit here every Tuesday morning, unable to log in before work, wondering what they’re doing.
And to be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re actually not doing anything other than letting their servers cool down for a bit.
