I keep running into people who want to stop me.

Ok, almost entirely just on the forums. In game and IRL it isn’t a problem at all.

No matter what the Debbie-Downers here say, I will not be stopped.

I enjoyed Garrisons. Peoples’ ding-dong opinions about them don’t impact me.

I thought Zuldazar was one of the best cities ever added to the game. I still enjoy going there. Who cares if some numbnuts say, “it’s too big! boo-hoo-hoo!”?

I found Torghast to be much more fun than the forumistas claimed it was. Kept running alts in there even after I had everything, just for fun. Game was getting stale, and Torghast was like a breath of fresh air.

Now, I really love Dragonriding! It is easily one of the best systems ever added to the game. So fun! Totally refreshes the leveling experience. I liked finding the glyphs, and the high speed wooshing around. It alone makes me want to play more than I have in a while. No amount of hand-wringing on the forums is going to lessen my enjoyment of it. With the sudden influx of people who hate it all claiming to be disabled, I suspect many of them are lying. Can you imagine lying about being disabled just to further your cause? Disgusting. (If you truly are disabled and it is causing worse than normal problems with your gameplay, I feel very sorry for you, that must suck :pensive:)

Why did I write this “Dear Diary” post? To let you know that you can also be unstoppable. Feel free to enjoy the things you enjoy, you don’t need validation from me or anyone else. In fact, I bet you enjoy things about this game that I hate…and I am happy for you for it.

I liked all of those things, too, Gnasha.

Nothing like flying over Zuldazar with an Inky Black Potion at night when all the fire lights are on with full graphics and maxed distance viewing.

It’s gorgeous.

I use my garrison pretty much daily for the convenience of banking, AH, repair, and pet battle hub all in one place.

I also loved Torghast and did the whole mount grind with Twisting Corridors for the mount.

…and I think dragon riding is the best feature they’ve added to the game since Angler’s fishing rep.

As someone who didn’t play BFA zuld definitely sucks right now. Why? Because I still can’t fly despite them saying BFA flying would be in DF.
If I could fly, Zuld would indeed be a great city.

I think “DR is good” isn’t actually as an unpopular opinion as some on GD would like to think.

Garrisons were cool, and my hunter’s is completely perfected in theme and function. I just think it’s super neat!

Oh, that is rough. They should definitely not make you do pathfinder still for content 2 expansions back.

I wish they’d take another shot at it but make it all about the cosmetic stuff and not try to tie it into expansion specific systems.

and let me set stuff up all over the world. There’s plenty of old ruins sitting around I could rebuild into a garrison or a house.

Totally agree. IRL and in-game I find nearly 100% of people claim they really like it. The forums, on the other hand…

I liked/like WoD. I have a 57 level locked alt there now. Yes he’s a Mag’har warrior with Tusks.

My guildies are all over the moon about it. We race one another for fun. Honestly, we’re all grumpy try-hards, and we’re all acting like toddlers with a new appliance box to play in right now.

Seriously, we’re all having so much fun. Things can change, and if there is a content drought or serious imbalance issues or a bad raid or dungeons that just don’t make us want to run them…or, or…sure, it might not turn out as well as it began. BUT. For the moment, we’re all super happy and enjoying the hell out of the game again.

I had no idea the inky black potion existed, this thing looks amazing. I would love for that to be a default option. Does it work in BG’s?

I am so glad to hear it. We are in the honeymoon phase, fair enough, but so far we haven’t had this much fun in quite a long time.
