I’m more disappointed that Botani clearly escaped into Azeorth, seen from the Mag’har recruitment questline, yet nothing ever happened from that. (Some ogron/ogres escaped as well, following the orcs through into Azeroth.)

“After the Mag’har of the alternate Draenor were transported to the main universe Azeroth, some botani were caught in Eitrigg’s teleportation spell and could be seen running from Durotar toward the Northern Barrens.”

These plant dudes almost casually took over Stormwind.

So what you’re saying is, the Botani put down roots in Azeroth.

I’d like to know how he got there from Stormwind. Did he start as a tiny spore and got carried by the wind halfway across the planet?

I honestly think, it might tie to the Harronir or something.

They have a ‘rootlands’ zone adjacent, and I think it’s possible this guy came from there.

No other idea how a Botani ended up in the Ringing Deeps at all, unless it was spores that drifted down through the Coreway, like you said.

Yeah. I guess if the Botani existed in Draenor (albeit, AU Draenor) it’s entirely possible for Azeroth to have something similar.
