Let’s see. What were we told a long, long time ago?
“BFA will be a faction pride expansion.”
Then we were told Sylvans wouldn’t be another Garrosh.
Then Saurfang did to Sylvanas what he did to Garrosh.
Somewhere after that, we got a pic of Sylvanas doing the whole xal’atath in a patch preview.
After that, we got told Sylvanas wouldn’t be exactly like Garrosh because she would think he’s an amateur.
Then Baine did a dumb thing like Saurfang did, which totally looked like a MoP-Garrosh thing.
Then, ya know, it turned into MoP 2.0.
So, yeah, Blizzard killed hope, not Sylvanas.

Yeah I kinda liked Sylvanas as warchief. Still, when you do the loyalist scene at the end you walk up on what’s pretty much hinted at Sylvanas and Nathanos implying that they’re going to have to axe us (loyalists) too.
Sylvanas was the one trying to destroy the Horde. Zero honor, zero morality.
You should be thanking Saurfang trusting in the Alliance to save the Horde. So basically…

Lots tend to cite Garithos, but know nothing as to why he hated the Elves.
Ironically, it’s the Blood Elves fault he hated them so much because of their unwillingness to help the Alliance of Lordaeron against the Orc and Amani threat.
Alleria Windrunner had to convince Anasterian Sunstrider that the threat was very real and that they should help King Terenas immediately. Anasterian did so only after Alleria provided proof of the Amani and Orcish encroachment into Elf lands.

You never should have had hope in the Horde unless you had hope they would be genocidal maniacs for the last 15 years…then yes that has been killed. For the time being…maybe.

It still didn’t mean they deserved attempted genocide… 
They killed my hope in the writing team. Absolutely dismal showing. A premiere, iconic, and arguably the greatest character (at least top two) in the entire portfolio of Blizzards IPs, reduced to what? Raid boss status? The brilliant Ranger General with thousands of years worth of experience under her belt, is now, what? A mouthbreathing, window licking lunatic who can’t even maintain her composure when facing a defeated enemy? A tactical moron who sends agents who stand no chance to kill Thrall, who had no inclination to even ever come back?
Can’t wait to loot some purps off the corpse of the greatest character in WoW.
This is not my Sylvanas. I don’t know who’s Sylvanas this is, but it sure as hell isn’t the Banshee Queen that has been in the WoW I’ve been playing for the last 15 years. Retconning fifteen years worth of backstory on her entire relationship with the forsaken in a single 6 minute cinematic?
It’s all entirely appalling and I have no idea how anyone from either faction could muster the ability to give two squirts about the story after this.

For the last 10 years since the lich king died, it has often been unclear who you were fighting, or why you were fighting, or what the enemies motivatioms were.
We have cookies! Though to be honest I share those with Horde friends too.
