this is all you have to do:
1: BLATANTLY say that Classic sharding will only exist in the demo; if you ABSOLUTELY must have sharding for the non-demo servers, then they should only exist for the first ~2 weeks in the level 1-10 zones(and not for the AQ event), in which cause you should BLATANTLY say so, but you'd get a better reaction by having no sharding at all, which would be better for the game
2: BLATANTLY say that item suffixes will be as they were in vanilla, but do specify whether that means the beginning or the end of vanilla; theres quite the difference
3: BLATANTLY state that, instead of stat ratings, there will be stats, such as having +1% crit instead of +19 crit rating; considering the amount of work that it'd take to get it done and the tiny benefit, if any, that'd come from it, it is NOT worth having stat ratings in the finished product
you do not have to do ANYTHING else to calm down 95% or more of the people who are immensely pissed off by the demo; and, by the way, I do mean BLATANTLY
you don't even have to say whether or not changes will exist in Classic WoW the first place!
EDIT: also, what Retlan said in the first reply
EDIT EDIT: also, summoning stones, forgot about that one; its also necessary to say that those won't be in the final game if you want to calm down the aforementioned people
3. say this is a build based on wotlk (for some odd reasons) where numbers are way off and stats will scale back to original vanilla ones in the upcoming beta
if you absolutely must have sharding for the non-demo servers, then they should only exist for the first ~2 weeks in the level 1-10 zones
That needs to be unacceptable right there. Don't even make that compromise. There should be NO form of phasing EVER.
Yes, I REALLY am going to be disappointed if they use some PR speak mumbo jumbo when they are asked about sharding.
I was a direct, YES or NO. Preferably no.
I will cringe if I hear "We hear you, we consider all of your positions. We value your feedback and are dedicated to delivering the best most authentic Classic we can do".
That type of answer just uses awhole lot of words but doesn't actually answer anything.

And you still have a 2 year game with 6 months of content due to debuff limit, itemization being nothing like it was in Vanilla, broken patches in tiers, broken, sped up leveling.
This is not made for us. This is made for Blizzard influencers to stream, sh@#% on and then sell you revisionist history about how it was always this easy and dumbed down. After they rush through it and trash it, they will use it to hype up the next modern expansion, which will magically release in the perfect time frame after they complete fake Vanilla WoW.
Spoiler. They are going to do the same thing with TBC.

giving this a second bump; I still want to get a confident answer to that question

This. You dealt with overcrowding in vanilla, deal with it in classic...

I don’t think any Blue is going to come anywhere near the forums after this disaster and the diablo train wreck

That was the golden age of WoW.
who said it had to be a blue's response? a player's response would do as long as he thinks that hes sure about the answer11/03/2018 08:07 AMPosted by Tranzar11/03/2018 08:04 AMPosted by Tarregorgiving this a second bump; I still want to get a confident answer to that question
