  1. Buy a WoW Token off the store
  2. Sell the WoW Token
  3. Buy a WoW token off the auction house and redeem it for 30 days
  4. Use all your brain power to try to come up with an idea as to why this idiotic change went through

Or buy a 1 month sub for $15, and cancel if you wish.

but this concerns gametime which you can buy with blizzard balance

Ohhhh I didn’t even know you could buy game time cards with Blizzard balance. In my experience with WoW game time cards though, they’ve always been 60 days for $29.99. Was that not the case recently?

Seems to vary by country… I saw others reporting that they only saw 60-day cards in WalMart, GameStop, etc. but then I know of people that have purchased 30-day cards.

Once the inventory turns over, I’m pretty sure they will all be 60-day cards.

The approach you suggests costs $20 for 30 days of game-time via Token round-trip. You could simply buy a sub at $15 and cancel as long as you have a payment method that works for a sub in your country (this seems to be the issue for some). Why pay $5 more for the same 30 days of play time?

Shadowlands content currently is barely worth $5.
But hey, it’s activision-blizzard with the friendly “lets remove all sort of discounts and options for all players without CC with an on going pandemic on the world yahoooo!”

The only reason they can still get away with getting people to pay a full subscription is because they offer wow classic with it. And I actually don’t “hate” Shadowlands per se, like a lot of people seem to… but it is a bit too easy to play at this point to really be “worth” much of anything by itself in dollars. Gamers generally like to have some kind of regular challenge available throughout the experience.

Patently false. I pay cash for a 6-month recurring sub and could not care less about Classic (or not Classic TBC).

yea i was gifted a balance for 20$ and tried to get one month but it`s 2 months so thanks.
