What race would it be and why would it be an elf? Most whining I have seen usually comes from one of the elf races, and honestly I think its time all of them go.
For a race oft depicted as dying off/fading/god knows what else, there seems to be
a LOT of the buggers.

Lets not forget elves are the root of Azeroths problems.
It would be normal trolls. Zandalari trolls are tolerable, but still butt ugly. Normal trolls are just… no.

In that case those fake wanna be high elf floozies are who I would purge from Azeroth finish what Blizzard started since they’re too chicken then as a real Void Elf I shall join with the Blood Elves in reclaiming all the floozies stole from our races.
