So I can send gold from my main to my goblin Fury Warrior? Nice, come Dragonflight I’ll have her as a viable ‘alt’ for raiding, same with my Outlaw Rogue.

Having a character stranded alone on a realm is still an issue.

Thankfully for you Blizzard has generously given you a discount for a fully automated service from $25 to $17.50 for a service that should at most cost $5 USD.

I have characters alone on such servers. But they’re there for a reason, so I wouldn’t consider them “stranded”.

Yay the faction war is finally over! As russia and china has proven, once you open up commerce between enemies, everything cools down because shooting eachother is bad for profits!

Good to see blizz making the first steps toward dissolving the factions altogether so we can all play together!

Would really like for you to allow for across realm on same account. SOme of us are thinning out server we are on and do not want to spend the money to transfer them just to delete them

When I try to email to my alts cross-faction (and on the same realm), I only get a “Target is Unfriendly” message and the transaction does not go through. Are there conditions I can change to make this happen?

I just tested this out again. I was able to send mail from my Horde mage to my Alliance priest just now, both on the same realm. Make sure you’re spelling their name correctly.

The faction, realm and region divides are all BS and the more they are broken down the better.

Realize this is a bit of a necro, but wanted to thank all of you. I’ve been wanting to go ahead and start playing Horde on a new server, as I want a fresh experience and I’ve only ever played Alliance ever since Wrath. I was fully prepared to spend the $20 for a faction change for an alt with all of my gold and some important items (phials and the like) and then the $17.50 for the faction transfer to the server I want to play on. Thanks to finding this gem of a thread, I’ll only have to spend the cash to transfer a new Horde DK alt with the gold to the server I want.

Also Blizzard, thanks a million for allowing this. Really.
