You buffed Timewalking... are you serious?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this dev team is the most out of touch dev team I have ever seen, and if not for the fact this is WoW, a game many people myself included have been playing for a majority of our lives they would be out of a job. So many changes are being made that no one asked for, changes that are problems ONLY to these developers and not to actual players. No one wants to spend even more time in Timewalking. We do it to farm currency and/or to have a chance at the rare mount, not for fun, because it isn’t fun.

Stop doing these sorts of changes, it’s just piling up more unwanted changes that make the game ever so slightly worse to play.

Honestly with the classic dungeons already being longer than most - I was legitimately confused why they buffed health up to 66% for the classic dungeons … solely just for them to take even longer?

Like, just why?

I dunno if it’s just cuz I’m geared up pretty much but I could pull the whole thing basically and be done with it quickly. Lol other times on my baby rogue, it sometimes took more time. The scaling was weird.

Like I was level 70 on my rogue doing really terrible damage… and then i was 73 or something and doing Insane damage. Not exactly much changed in that time.

Or in stratholme a level 10 priest was mind controlled and I was one shot for 58 million by “entropic embrace” the void elf racial.

If the fix helps this type of scaling experience be smoother then I’d be happy. But from the sounds of it, I dunno.

No it’s not time walking if it feels like solo content

It feels no different than befire the buff.

Did some TW yesterday after the buff.

It’s really not that different. Wouldn’t have even noticed it had there not been news about it.

Blizz is going back to their old mindset. “If we make everything harder and last longer, that means people will sub longer.” I can’t wait for blizz to go shocked pikachu face when the sub numbers drop, like it did last two times they tried this.

They basically killed tw for me when they changed them to scale up to your level. I had fun running old content and building tw sets. The tw rewards are mostly useless.

it was too easy and you know it.

Apart from doing the weekly quest, has timewalking rewards ever been useful?

If you can’t even get your rotation going before a pack of mobs falls over it makes the content extremely boring.

I’m fine with them buffing health pools but you need to increase the rewards to match. In fact they should do this for all leveling content.

I say “mostly” because tw badges were useful for collecting mounts, pets, mog, rep, etc…The weekly reward was only ever useful if your endgame is lfr or maybe normal raiding.

It’s always been a meme or a funny joke we made… “fun detected; fun nerfed.” But it really seems to be their motto lately. Take the anniversary event as an example. They gave us current content chores instead of fun stuff to do in the event.

Why wouldn’t they have made the event just like the DMF?

It’s also handy if you have alot of alts.

Maybe? But a tank being able to pull most of an instance and solo it… isn’t really fun for anyone else.

Yep… RIP Thunderfury. It was already good OP fun using it in TBC TW. Now it just sits in my bags with no use at all.

But now it’s too hard for what it rewards.

This. I’ve always hated the fun detected meme, but my god does it really home now. That event is so mind numbing. I got three the first day, and stopped. It was like a somehow worse version of the daily farm in WoD. Even with the token increase, I don’t know that I’m going to farm it.

Not really. The buff hardly made a difference.

Ah… a vocal minority. How refreshing.
