You broke the launcher yesterday

I got a launcher update late afternoon ( CDT ) yesterday, which I assumed was some 11.2.7 update . . . and ever since then, my launcher is freaking out! First, I have a light blue colored ‘bubble’, or selection outline scrolling across all my available games favorites list. Additionally, when I go to the drop down menu to select which version of WoW I am trying to launch, there is a light blue selection outline bouncing between all the various version options in that window. I am still able to make selections in both game launch favorites bar as well as the version select drop down. But that outline bouncing all over the place never happened until that last launcher update. And Is still happening today, after many program closes and relaunching.

. . . nobody else getting this?

Seems to be related to a website bug that’s been reported. No response from Blizz yet.

Had a blizzard data corruption error, i just uninstalled then reinstalled the app. Works fine again. No other issues anywhere else. This has happened in the past as well with this launcher.

I’ve never personally seen this issue with the launcher before last night. The main link I have is that they made a change to the Battle.net shop site which caused the behavior first, and then it ended up in the launcher a week later.

These are my threads between this forum and the Bnet app bug report:

Why is enter username / password now in two dialog windows instead of the same one?

Blizzard please revert that change. The new UI is annoying if you misspelled the username and need to navigate back.

I have since found the solution to this.

. . . disable / remove / unplug any joystick, steering wheel, or rudder pedals attached to your PC.
