You can still code the Q such that it strongly favors unfair matchups. This sort of coding may already be in place for battleground ques.
And that’s why they will always be stuck in their rating, because they don’t understand it takes some games to get a groove with someone new and that they won’t win them all and it’s stupid to expect that

I personally would like to see it, the rage quitting at one loss is always going to be a thing that happens in games and you can’t really stop those people. But just because people will do it doesn’t mean it has to ruin it for the other people that don’t want to sit in LFG for 30 minutes waiting.
You can always just que with a friend in regular arena

that’s been a theory since BFA and honestly makes sense. I will look at a team and see that sometimes i am the only geared person on the team and the enemy team is all my ilvl or higher or reverse my entire team will be my ilvl and the enemy will be all under geared.
I think that’s how we get Ion’s “factions are a 50/50 win rate just about”

its actually counter productive becuase if i join one of those games I just leave. im honor capped and play for fun, but id rather wait 15 min watching twitch and q again than sit afk in there for no reason.

A lot of MMORPG’ers do though. Power fantasy escapism is one of the main draws of mmoRPGs to begin with.
yeah in pve, but most people who like high end pvp don’t really want power trips. They want to know they took someone out in skill, it’s why fights try to match people in the same weight class as well.
Gear should never be a factor in competitive play.

They can’t because groups listed never whisper or talk in game. They use discord … Blizzard needs to perma ban people like this, they always list group with 1400/1600/2000 carry add me#theirname on discord and thats it…
You go on discord and they will ASK YOU FOR REAL MONEY. THEY ARE NOT USING GOLD.
I will say now that I was wondering so I went there and they asked for 60$ to play with carry for 1 hour at 1800 cr. So I assume they will lose some games on purpose so you will pay again for another hour.
I cant imagine how much challengers who want glad carry pay lol. Its just embarrassing.
But best part about this is that, later after they get mount you can beat them easily and embarrass them in front of everyone knowing they play nothing like a gladiator. Both in Arenas and in open world.
And its not possible to get 1v2 unless you really don’t know how to play lol. Especially in arena where dampening applies

Yeah RBGs are hilarious this season. I was in like a 1500cr alt RBG a week or two ago, they wanted a boomkin and my buddy with 2900 arena/ hero XP had a geared boomy that he hadn’t done RBGs on yet this season willing to come and they almost didn’t invite him. xD

I’m rethinking my position on soloqueue just because of this post.
Boosts are good. keeps the PvP scene lively.
And this is why people want Solo Q, because of elitest tryhards who only want the top people in their 1200 cr group.
