You can stop asking for dual spec. It requires a lot of game changes. They aren’t going to spend the dev time on this.

Dual spec is in SoD which is built out of the Classic engine, so…yes, actually, it is a switch they can just flip and turn on

You are paying for the servers which cost money to run.
Try renting a server and report back.
They aren’t adding dual spec. It would affect Era and so it’s not happening.

You have legit no idea what you’re talking about. “Base code”, random jargon. They’ve implemented changes on SoD that have accidentally translated to Era. Define that if their code is so vastly different?

Yes I do know what I’m saying. They would have to make another version of the game to add dual spec into FRESH without affecting era.
These are just ERA SERVERS.
They are not going to change the servers drastically by adding dual spec. The only new code is the LFG tool which is probably going to be added into Era at the same time because it’s a small change.
Explain to us, in detail, how it cant be implemented? You launch Hardcore, SoD and Era all from the same client. It has already been done, sorry man. I personally can’t wait for Dual Spec on fresh.
They said the same thing about SoD and being unable to make changes outside of runes to things like talents without impacting regular era. In fact now that I recall I’m pretty sure you said the same thing

Any change they make to these FRESH servers will affect era servers. They are the same thing.
So if they add dual spec then Era will get dual spec and PEOPLE WILL COMPLAIN.
Therefore they are not adding dual spec.

Who said I was playing fresh? SoD is on fire and we already have dual spec. Fresh is just a TBC waiting room for most people I believe.
