Yogg-Saron “God of Death”

“Throughout Northrend, deposits of a mysterious ore named “Saronite” can be found, which is called “The Black Blood of Yogg-Saron” by the Tuskarr people and who advise any who will listen to keep their distance from it. Saronite is capable of driving any who come into contact with it to violent insanity, and it appears to be a type of byproduct of the Old God’s physical manifestation. The Scourge mine extensively for this material It is used in their fuel, armament, weapons and most notably in the construction of their buildings, including Icecrown Citadel itself.”

The Jailer is connected to Yogg-Saron. The game is making huge connections to that fact by using Tor’Ghast looking like and hovering above Icecrown. The Scourge making everything out of the “Old God of Death” and everyone being in the “Shadowlands” should make this perfectly clear by now.

Anyone that can’t foretell this must be as blind as Odyn…

Yogg-Saron is coming soon…

I hope, he was a horrifying and fantastic villain

“God of Death” was a self proclaimed title. Additionally, when an Old God is slain it is sent to the Void Plane. He won’t appear within the Shadowlands.

Wont be allowed? Or will help in it’s “undoing”

I’m not convinced we ever truly killed Yogg-Saron.
We killed one manifestation only. He is terribly difficult to kill.

No way is he in the Void…

Furthermore, aren’t death and the void enemies, or am I misunderstanding something?

We will be seeing dreadlords in 9.1. And the Jailer did say that death was coming for our world soul. I know of only one other being that wished to kill our world soul.

The title’s just a fancy name he calls himself. It’s dark and intimidating, much like Neltharion going by “Deathwing.” Yogg is a creature of the Void and has shown no Death tendencies.

The Scourge may have drawn inspiration for the architecture from the SL, but the material was just a conicidence. Saronite was extremely lightweight and tougher than steel, it’s a god metal and the dead don’t suffer the side effects. A natural choice to use.

You misinterpreted what was said. Yogg-Saron was slain and killed. His soul does not go to the Shadowlands, it goes to the Void. He was not speaking of the Void attacking again.

He’s not “dead” you can’t just kill an Old God… they don’t die like that on Azeroth

I didn’t specify what it will do. I simply state that it can be in SL as it pleases.

Yes, actually, they do. It has been explained by the developers. They are, for all intents and purposes, dead. That does not mean they cannot come back if they are remade in the Void.

The Void can invade again. But Lore’s comment was that the dead soul does not go to the Shadowlands.

Yogg-Saron is like a hydra. Cut off a head and it grows another… He is alive. The developers lie to everyone… They love it.

Sigh, I literally quoted the part he said it won’t be in SL. And I said it can be.
I said nothing beyond the point it can be in SL… what do you want…

When i run Torghast, i get 1% strength for each soul i get.
Just imagine the power of the Jailer!!!
Yogg is cool, but he his no match…
