Trinket the blind I get hoj’d and die anyway.

The discussion below has devolved, so I feel like I should make the point of this post more clear in OP:
The point is not that it is impossible to survive this, or that there is nothing you can do about it, or that there are no other mechanics that are more ridiculous that exist.
The point is that blind not breaking on 50k+ worth of damage is just a little silly.
Have someone dispel or wait for them to use a global then trinket
Gotta trinket + big dome the blind & wings, and have your partner help peel the 1 minute DT.
Have painsup if absolutely needed
I am he who dispels.
And get full hoj’d next global

Yea that’s why I said wait for them to use a global, most Rets aren’t stacking haste. So trinket and use that ~1.3s to press a button before they can HoJ
The only thing that could possibly save me is trinket big dome, because if I had PS I would trinket get hoj’d PS, which is what I did for first wings.
Even if I do get the big dome off, they can just hold hoj until it’s down since wings lasts 20 seconds and full hoj me after with no trinket.
I think the core issue here is that I can die in a blind that doesn’t DR the hoj. If trinketing the blind meant I sat a half hoj I would be ok, but trinketing one 6 second effective stun to sit another is just really frustrating.
bad xpac for healers, i carried myself to 2300 in lfg as healer bfa, was super tilting then i quit when corruption came out,
im not saying you arent making mistakes but its also possible scooby doo is an overtuned atm,

Not quite, because seraphim doesn’t last that long, and you dont die without the seraphim multiplier as well. Bonus points if you dome the Dtoll.

Are you looking for solutions or just venting, I mean do as you please but you can trinket blind and PS HoJ and your partners should be doing something.
If the ret has space to just sit on you doing whatever he wants holding HoJ unabated then there’s other issues.

The solution is blind should break on 50k damage. It’s silly to be able to take enough damage to kill you in one CC and then get FULL stunned directly after.
Yea well there’s solutions to “LFG at 1600”

Sure, none of those change the fact that sitting a 6 second blind you can die in to get full hoj’d after is silly.
We’ve already gone what you can do.
If that alone is gatekeeping you at 1600 then you’ll be there until you can figure it out like thousands of other players have
