Hey. You already know community has no say in the servers because they preached sharding and layering. Will they atleast free xfer to other servers because this is nuts. You blizzard were not prepared. Over a year of “planning” how many private servers did you shut down. How many times was this requested. Every new server you get up instantly becomes full. I want answers. What are we paying for please tell me.

No, it’s too early, you can easily level back to 10/20/30 right now on a new server. They gave fair warning ahead of time this would happen, so they owe you nothing.

Im just stating the fact man. I’m tired of 120min ques that actually last 4hrs. They need to do something. They dropped the ball on it already hypes dead in eu. When will they do anything? Maintaining servers 3 days in a row.
They are doing something actually, they keep adding realms all the time and raising server cap but making sure not to raise it too much that they end up with low pop servers/dead servers.

Adding more servers doesn’t help people that have done the dumb quests. After trying to find the zebrah hooves that don’t drop ever, would like a solid answer for what we are paying for besides watching a queue timer that’s my opinion I want to play this game or I guess I missed the heads up it’s going to be worse than vanilla drop. Are Private servers the answer
Private servers didn’t have the exact 100% down to detail vanilla experience. They changed values and many other things.
Welcome to actual authentic vanilla experience, yes queues were a part of it.
You have 2 options: Wait a week or 2 or even a month till things cool down and you can play without worry…or don’t and watch 4 hour queues. They will not refund or give you anything for free as this was expected and they fairly and legally warned us this would happen.

That says “estimated time.” If it lasts 4 hours, it was a 4 hour queue.
What matters is your position in queue. The estimation is just based off the frequency at which people are disconnecting. It assumes with every tick that the pace of that tick will continue.
That’s why you can be in a 20k queue and it can expect 1 minute if 5,000 people suddenly disconnect.
Your right private servers won’t be originally vanilla experience I played in 05 I feel. But what are they doing about raising caps or what about the layering they preached. What about the sharding. Increasing server caps? Doesn’t seem like it. What’s going on I want a legit response besides they are doing something. From my point of view I’m paying for them to make bfa
Did you miss the Q&A? World servers are crashing constantly because too many people, when enough people spread out and not 1000+ people in Elwynn forest, they will remove layering slowly and by phase they hope to get rid of layering altogether. Eventually there won’t be phasing.
Also I just said what they are doing…they are increasing server caps slowly.

From my understanding each layer was a vanilla server cap. Is there not more than 2 layers per realm. I didn’t miss q&a I understand they don’t want dead servers but increasing server limit doesn’t do much because they started the classic experience with so few servers.
I went through this before back in vanilla. Frostwolf was a huge PVP server and they opened up xfers to Frostmane eventually.
To me, it looks like they’re waiting for the 10th apple to drop before they realize they need to just shake the branches… It’s really stubborn.
I went through queues on skullcrusher but that was 14/15 years ago. Again how many private servers were shut down. I want a legit blizzard employee to respond because it seems like all maintaining servers does is kicks everyone from queue and server and it’s a scramble to try to get back on.

New servers are insta full and what I understood they only said avoid full servers so that’s all of them… Why am I subbed to a game I can’t play. Nice to know it’s a queue sim guess blizzard decided it was a nice new dlc… Let’s be honest this is just nuts.

Actually yeah, guild is telling everyone to “hold tight” on Whitemane, lmao… I don’t feel like rerolling. I didn’t back then, I won’t now. I’ll just wait it out. Got the entire phase to grind gear anyway.
