Yo blizzard isnt it time to remove conquest cap?

Are you waiting for the two week warning or something? Never understood why there is a conquest cap in the first place. It’s not like pvpers can use pvp gear in pve anyway.

The conq cap is so you’re not forced to no life for 5 days and grind out your full pvp set at the start of every season. There’s supposed to be a progression to the season.

Cap should probably be raised weekly and cut back to 6 weeks. 11 weeks of cap is insane.

Oh but pve players can get full bis in day 1?

I think we’re just past the point of it mattering. You can already get a character to competitive ilvl, 637ish, in a few hours if you plan correctly. From my perspective, the cap is just preventing me from properly gearing other specs that im interested in.

The main argument I see for this is that it’s impossible to gear for alt specs (I suspect by design since this funnels people into buying boosts and wow tokens for alts). I also don’t like how rating has no effect on your conq cap

Someone on reddit gave the best solution. If you buy a piece of conquest gear you should then be able to buy any other piece for that slot with honor (with the exception of trinkets and rings since you have two of those slots)

Yeah this would probably be a widely supported solution if blizz put it in. good idea for sure

People don’t know you can bypass the Conquest cap by just buying Blood Token gear and upgrading it to your Tier PvP set :dracthyr_comfy_blue:
