Dont honor farm in towns.

You’ve only got a problem with undead rogues because they stick to you through your +10 second CC where you’re fully DPSing them the entire time.
At least rogues have to spend combo points and sacrifice damage to CC with DPS involved.

Wish you were on my server, I’d be leveling just to make you happy lol.

Way too late, we’ve got tons.

Just gonna chime in here from the perspective of a PvP-focused player.

If this isn’t fixed, I’m probably going to take a break from WoW. This will affect my enjoyment of PvP/BGs, and my ability to rank efficiently.

What about when you’re trying to get into MC and the opposite faction camp the door into the mountain. Now somebody has an eye right around the corner out of view of the raid through the bottleneck door into the mountain.

I see rain of aoe from mages, locks, multi shots from hunters etc. you have to if you don’t aoe and the other side does you’ll get wiped going into your raid. Normally this is alliance fighting horde to get in.

So the raid gets a dhk that’s bad. the yeti ok keep but the eye should be fixed. It’s bad for everyone.

They can park it right out of view around corners. This is just one example.

Yeah there are lots of ways to get accidental DhKs from stuff like this when you’re in chaotic situations, in PvP or raid groups. There aren’t civilian NPC’s in BRM or BG’s so those should be reliable places for PvP without DhK risks, for example.

But leaving it to player agency to create their own civilians that follow them around in order to grief the opposite faction, opens up a huge can of worms. I highly doubt these items were intended to be used this way, nor were civilian NPC’s ever meant to be generated by players. Not to mention, yetis and eyes of kilrogg, shouldn’t be classified as civilians. They aren’t people or aligned with any faction so it makes zero sense, lore-wise.

That should be the end of the discussion. If it’s not fixed, I think many people who came to Classic primarily for PvP and looked forward to ranking, may be done with classic. I won’t touch AV until it’s fixed and have no motivation and little reason to log in until then.

Any links to screen shots of this working or is this guy just a troll?

I got my yeti killed about 8 times last night in Gadgetzan, but I’m not sure if it really does give a DHK. Some people say it does, some people say it doesn’t.

they can only be summoned in town, and no ones making anyone kill them.

so yeah i dont see why people are whining.

its probably designed that way to discourage quest griefing. just dont kill the yeti or mess with people doing the quest you should be fine.

To any twit trying to use this dumb phrase in this thread: civilians as a concept didn’t even exist at launch … so by saying that, you are actually agreeing with the people you are trying to troll.

While these things are civilians, that doesn’t mean they give DKs- I dunno about the yeti since in Vanilla we didn’t tend to have nonstop neutral city camping for three reasons.

1- Fewer players, better places to pvp at.
2- People didn’t want to lose goblin rep, too risky.
3- GMs were far more punctual and far more willing to ban you for safespotting in neutral cities

So I doubt people killed the yeti much.

The eye is a different story- that’s an item that just screams pvp value, and I’m certain it was heavily used in pvp and thus destroyed often. If that was getting DKs in Vanilla, there would have been uproar and a fix about it.

So, consider me a skeptic until I see video/screenshot proof of the yeti, eye or target dummy (I think also a civ?) giving DKs.

This story is from the perspective of someone thinking they’re giving others DKs. But- think about this logically- if this were the case, there would have been many people getting DKs, who would be absolutely enraged.

More so after the reddit post and people tried doing this.

What do people do when they get furious in this game? They come to the forums and complain.

I have yet to see any threads though with people furious they got a DK from a yeti or eye.

I love how people post from Alts. It shows your too affraid to stand up for your own post. Are you worried people will take note of your character and harrass you in game?

So much logic in your post. The heads of people gullible enough to have fallen in to this Troll face first have just exploded.

Has anyone even confirmed if they give DHK? I’ve heard people saying they’ve tested it and it did not even though it was marked civ, but there was no screenshots so if someone has proof please post it.

Let the record show that OP was too scared to post from their 60

being this clueless

We summoned the eye in azshara the other day during azuregos nonsense while we were standing around. To us it did not say civilian. Not sure if it does to the opposing faction though.
