You’re a monkey for complaining about stuff like this. If you don’t have the awareness to see a little quest item, that only can be spawned in 3 specific locations, you deserve the DHK.
Especially as a Warrior where you can very easily control your aoe.

this doesn’t work with the yeti. doubtful it works with the other items. if it does, it will get fixed 100%, its not an intended mechanic

i just combed that thread and there are 2 comments (the most recent ones) saying it doesn’t work. i just tested it myself with some horde

I do pvp. Alot. I see this as being no different that using a pot, trinket, engineering item. Or any other quest reward you get while leveling like the Bag of Marbles which causes the target to miss 25% of the time.

Whoa whoa whoa, I’ve never heard about summoning things that count as DHKs in Vanilla. There’d be videos in Vanilla of people fully clearing the ranks of entire factions if this was the case.
If this is actually a thing and not fake news, then PvP in its entirety is done.
Never underestimate others’ incompetence or laziness. Your expectations will be failed. Need an example? Alright. Programmers are adept at logic, math, and associative thinking. Consider the state of the honor and rank systems. Does an able programmer appear to be handling that? Either there is no programmer assigned to fix it, or no one cares due to laziness.
Me. Given the ridiculous absurdities that Vanilla has throughout every facet of the game, I’m 100% OK with some randomly summoned entity being both killable and treated as a civilian. I don’t indiscriminately AoE in PvP because… well… I’m just a Druid, so I don’t have a problem with this.
Mages on the other hand happily spamming Arcane Explosion however, well, sucks to suck I suppose.
I have an eye from Strat. I’ll wait on my next corpse run to MC to give a couple of raids a DHK tonight.
