Yet another "Make it baseline and make Warrior Talents more creative" post

Bored. Hoping for more creativity in future seasons.

I would love to see some new fun flavor to Warrior, including abilities that should be baseline to all three specs. Replace them with choice nodes, or talents that buff the ability itself.

  1. Shockwave
  2. Rallying Cry
  3. Wrecking Throw

1 — Shockwave: We are already seeing how much better this is for the class by moving it upward in the tree, but why not just give it baseline? You can replace current spot on class tree with the already Rumbling Earth talent node, then add another talent below that causes the ability to do something like
A: If enemy is stun DR’d/resists the stun, it instead causes spell pushback. (think tons of debris flying towards you)
B: The old talent that gave it higher crit chance and more damage.

2 — Rallying Cry: Being Baseline, you could replace with a Choice Node to either bring back a nerfed Inspiring Presence from Shadowlands or Turn it into Commanding Shout. Increases max Hp by say 5% (similar CD/GCD like Battle Shout, same duration). While under the effects of Commanding Shout, Rallying Cry does not apply to prevent hp stacking.

3 — Wrecking Throw: I really like this talent, but imo it’s extremely weak. Make the choice node have 2 Charges, buffed by Haste or the option to change it into Shattering Throw.

Avatar moved up in class tree to somewhere around the same spot as Avenging Wrath for Ret. New talent designed for bottom capstone…GREAT SPOT for CONQUEROR’s BANNER rework :slight_smile: . Then two choice nodes below. You carry the banner, increasing XYZ or you Plant the Banner, preventing XYZ.

single minded fury should just be baseline for fury like it used to be. It will never be viable as long as you are essentially -1 talent point to use it, at least not when the talent is at the kind of numbers blizzard wants to use.
