11 heroic Sark kills, 7 normal kills, no Cracked Titan Gem. I’ve seen them drop for a few others, so at least, they do exist.
Thoughts on this Legendary design:
Plus: Motivation to kill Sarkareth each week. It is a challenging and fun encounter, and it’s nice that there’s a reason to do it.
Minus: Mainly just Evokers want to kill Sarkareth. The queues are full of cyan, other classes sparsely sprinkled in-between.
Minus: After 11 kills, I’m no closer to the legendary. In fact, I am further away. As each week passes, there are fewer weeks to go, and less time to get something out of it. It will be irrelevant a few weeks into the next tier.
Minus: When I see an Evoker with the legendary, I’m not impressed. Having the legendary simply means you won at RNG. You could have got it on Normal difficulty, or even LFR. You could have got it on the first kill, where you died on pull. It has no bearing on the player or his skill.
I’ve been lucky with some other drops, so it’s not like I feel the game doesn’t like me. But a different design, like Tarecgosa’s Rest in Firelands, seems like a much better way to add a legendary to the game.
Same here, still no drop. One of the reasons I’ve been enjoying WoW less and less lately. Something like this shouldn’t be something to get at the end of a patch, especially not when it’s BiS and unlocks a unique quest line.
I would rather have the legendary as it is than just on Mythic, by the way I checked your mythic progression and you don’t even play it, so you would rather not have a chance at all to get an item than have a small chance at getting it.
Even if I saw someone having a legendary in such conditions I wouldn’t be impressed at all, I am not a teenager anymore that gets impressed by the cool shoulders that some raider has and gets giddy about it. There are so many games to be played that could offer me exciting experiences than PAYING MONTHLY to sit at town looking at what other people have that I don’t.
The legendary is already very rare I bet only 5% of Evokers or less have it, just because you see a bunch of messages in town doesn’t mean every Evoker is getting it. For Every Nas’zuro message that you see, hundreds of other Evokers didn’t get theirs that week.
I don’t favor Mythic raiding, the format is too restrictive. I would play Mythic if it used the same loot and lockout systems as Heroic. Even better, if it was flex 15-20. I refuse to participate in Mythic raiding until these changes occur, otherwise they never will.
I don’t care if the legendary was for Mythic raiders only. Make it Mythic-only, that’s fine. At least then, it will be impressive.
